Today was a day Melissa was to go to the Therapist. The only reason she was okay with therapy was because she became close with her therapist after the first appointment. She felt as if Dr. Pawlenty would really listen and help her, instead of treating her as one of her other patients.

But when Alfie woke her up to eat breakfast and to take her medicines, she wasn't excited to see her therapist. She knew why though. Dr. Pawlenty told her that if she harmed herself again, she would be put on suicide watch.

Melissa was glad she made sure to wear a jumper before she fell asleep since Alfie always wakes her up. She couldn't imagine the look on his face if he were to find out she started harming again.

Relentlessly, Melissa still got up to get ready. She skipped her shower, since she showered last night and went straight to picking out her outfit. She grabbed her older brother's old college shirt from when he was in college a couple years ago and a jacket, since it was still technically winter. She also grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and some converse. She threw them on over her body, and sulked towards the bathroom.

Melissa opened the white-painted door and the first object that caught her attention, was the metalic weapon she uses on herself. She had thoughts of slicing her skin, but decided against it since Alfie was currently at the house. Instead, she hid it in her bag full of 'girly' essentials since Alfie would never dare look into it.

She took out her phone, went to her music section, and played My Chemical Romance. The band was very special for her. When the band was at it's peak of popularity, she would listen to them non-stop. When her brother went to college, it was a sad time for her since she felt as if he was the only person in her life who truly cared for her. So, she turned to MCR to help her through the tough time.

She clicked the twisted arrows, a symbol for the 'shuffle' option and got out her everyday necessities. Her favourite song blared from her white coloured phone. Thank You For The Venom.

She brushed her teeth and hair, straightened her hair and put on her make-up.

Feeling somewhat satisfied with her ensemble, she took in a couple of breaths and opened the door which separated her from the living room which Alfie was currently sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone. "Alfie?" She barely whispered.

Somehow, Alfie managed to hear Melissa's quite voice and stood up smiling. In his mind, he thought she was getting better. When in reality, she wasn't.

He grabbed his wallet, keys and Melissa's arm where her elbow is. Thankful that he didn't grab any lower for him to realize her cuts, she obliged and followed him out the front door of his flat.

They climbed into Alfie's car and started their ten minute drive to Melissa's therapist's office. On the way, she plugged in the chord that transfered her music from her phone to the car stereos. Pressing shuffle, the first song that came on was Over Again by One Direction. She hadn't listened to the band in a while so a strong sense of nostalgia ran through her veins.

She remembers when she went to her first concert, which happened to be a One Direction concert. Her other favourite band at the time, 5 Seconds of Summer, opened for them at the concert. She remembers that throughout the whole concert, she screamed and cried. Screamed because it was her favourite band at the time. Cried because they meant to much to her, and they still do.

A couple more songs played on her phone, which passed the time instead of actual conversations, and in no time they were at her therapist's office. The office was found in the 'ghetto' part of town, as most would call it.
