Dowon's pov
i woke up thanks to the loud thunder half way through my sleep.

wait , thunder? that means it's raining!

i looked downstairs and tried to find Hanbin but i couldn't see him anywhere. could he have gone home? i'd better go check.

i ran downstairs as quickly as possible and opened the front door to see Hanbin leaning against the wall next to the door all wet.

"yah! can you hear me? wake up!" i tried shaking him but it was no use. he didn't budge.

"can you get up?" i asked but he didn't answer. sighing to myself , i grabbed his arm and brought him inside the house.

leaning him against the door , i took a dry towel and wrapped him up.

"yah Kim Hanbin! can you hear me? please open your eyes at least!" i said patting his cheek.

i felt his forehead to only know he was coming down with a fever.

with all the strength i have , i brought him up to my room and laid him on the floor. i then sneakily went into my brother's room and took a tshirt and a piece of long pants before leaving it quietly.

"i'll just pretend i never see anything." i said before undressing him to put on dry clothes for him.

few minutes later..

after dressing him up with my brother's clothes , i helped him up to my bed and tucked him under the covers.

i went back down to the kitchen and brought a bucket of ice water with a small towel to put over his forehead.

soon , he regained consciousness and opened his eyes.

the moment he looked at me , he wanted to sit up but i stopped him.

"don't move. you have a fever." i said. after lying back down on the bed , there was a moment of silence before he spoke up.

"i heard that you're leaving to the States." "yeah so? it's all of you guys fault anyway." i said.

"why must you leave? i haven't explained yet." he said. "what is there to explain?" i asked. "forget it , i don't want to hear it. i'm sleeping on the couch." i said getting up to leave when he grabbed my wrist.

"sleep here. with me. please."

"are you crazy?" i asked. "i'm scared. there's the thunder and lightning. plus , i'm not familar in this house." he said.

"there is no chance i'm sleeping with you. you can dream- no , don't even dream about it." i said before pushing his hand away from my wrist.

before i could leave my room , he lifted me off and carried me to the bed with my struggling to get off.

"keep it down unless you want to wake your siblings up." he said.
