although i told Dowon i'll tell tomorrow , i'm actually telling tonight. at least no one will interrupt me.

"eomma? can we talk for a second?" i asked knocking on her slightly opened door. "sure , come on in." she said and i pushed open the door before going into the room.

"what is it darling?" she asked. "i want to tell you something about Dowon." i said. "Dowon? what about her?"

"she's in love. with her friend." i said. "and?" "and i want you to let her date him." i said. "tell me the background of this guy."

"he is , not rich , not from a wealthy family and has no job." i said. "then you know my answer is a no. i'll find a perfect husband for your sister , just like i did for you." she said.

"but mom , don't you get it? Dowon loves him not someone you randomly choose. do you think i like the guy you matched me with? i definitely have no feelings for him up till now. i don't want Dowon to go through what i'm going through now." i said.

"it's for the best. Baekhyun will be taking over the company so he won't be getting married to anyone yet. as for you two , i need to find someone capable of giving you a comfortable life."

"mom , if that someone is someone we don't love , how will we live comfortably?" "Aeyoung-"

"if you can choose the guy you love and marry him , why not let your daughters do the same? we're all girls afterall." i cut off her words.

"you know i can't call off the wedding now. you're in-laws are looking forward to it." my mother said.

"i know. that's why i'm here to tell you , if you want me to get married with him , you let Dowon find her own love. or else , i'll not turn up for the wedding." i said before leaving the bedroom not forgetting to say goodnight.

Aeyoung's words made me rethink my choices. maybe i did go a little too far with my daughters' marriages.

i took my phone and dialled my secretary's number.

"Azura , cancel my meeting with the Park family. i don't think i want to marry my youngest daughter there." "yes madam."

i was actually going to meet the Park family because they want to marry off their only son , Park Jimin as well. but perhaps , Dowon should find her own love.
