PRELUDE

The loudness of the speaker's voice could no longer annoy me. How the man in his 50's holds the mike, answering one of the judge's questions with his fellow companions beside him, recalling the film we had seen, didn't bother me. I could feel my friend groaned of boredom sitting in the theater seat , wanting to end this dreary international film festival.

But me? No. At first I was, but then he came. Just a look of him, flushed me at that very moment. His milky skin that glows as the lights from the ceiling hit him gently. The way he sits with a posture I lovingly adore now. Orbs as blue as the ocean and face that for me, resembled an angel in disguise.

He was beautiful.

He was a dream.

A dream I want to reach.

But alas, I couldn't.

He was too far.

Too far for my hand to touch.

I want to touch him.

I want to reach him.
