Chapter 2
I am at the Principal Office with a spoiled T-shirt, ugh how embarrassing! The Principal is so damn gorgeous. Blue blazer with matching pencil skirt, beneath the blazer is a white floral blouse, talk about elegance and sophistication. She looks 50 above but wow..
“Do you understand Ms. Locsin?”
Shit! “Y-Yes Ma’am!” I didn’t understand a thing!
“Good! Very well, Go clean yourself in the shower by the gym and I’ll let you be excused for the first subject, I will call your first period teacher. Here’s your schedule”
“T-Thank you!” as I stand up and I am out of the door. “Whew! Ok, Let’s do this!” and head to the shower room by the Gym, and man this school is huge. Long walk to the gym. My instinct never ever fails me, good thing I have this extra top.
No one is in the bathroom so I strip all my clothes off, and stepped on the shower, neat new towel by the shack. At least this shower room is kind of intimate, inside a cubicle but with an almost transparent bathroom curtain, but better than no cubicle.
I’m squishing my liquid soap and I can’t help singing!
“Someday, you’ll gonna realize.. someday.. you’ll see this through my eyes..” (Someday by Kyla) an OPM song. And I continued singing.. as I finished the chorus..
“Someday.. Somedaaaay..” I heard someone clapping..
“Wow! That’s some singing!” What the?! A guys voice!
“What are you? I mean who are you? I mean.. Just GET OUT!!”
“Chill out! I’m not in there! I am at the other side of the wall!” he said calmly.
I “chilled out” right after he finished his sentence. But who wouldn’t freak out by that? Gosh! No one should do that.
“Okay, look at the vent at the right upper corner, you facing the wall.. see I’m splashing some water.. see?” and he is..
“Okay okay.. Jeez! You’re talking to me like I’m some kind of child!”
“A Good singer kind of child! You are someone Jessa should look out for”
“Jessa? Who's Jessa? Nevermind. I'm not really into singing!” my tone is kind of snobbish than I intented.
“Really? That's quite a shame. You really have a good voice”
Now I am shy! Too much compliment! AH! “Well.. uhm Thank you?”
“So based on what you asked. You’re new here.”
“Asked?”
“Well you don’t know Jessa”
“Does everybody in this school needs to know who Jessa is?”
“Well she’s kind of the school president So.. Yeah..”
Ok an Idiot sign on my head.. “And let me guess.. she sings great.. and maybe she is also the head of the theater club in this school”
“Exactly!! And maybe you could try to audition and get a par..”
“No way, I’m laying low in this school. I am going to join some clubs but definitely nothing about singing.”
“Can I know why?” He sounded a bit concerned.
Ok here it goes.. “Where I came from, there are a whole lot of better singers than me, and I am not really confident when It comes to my singing and..”
