Germany poured the kibble equally in three separate bowls. His dogs rushed to their food and ate greedily. Germany put up the kibble and looked at the singing Italian in his kitchen.

Veneziano was cooking a meal mixed with Italian and German recipes.

Germany sighed deeply upon spotting food particles on his pristine kitchen counter. His blue eyes looked over the cooking figure that was chopping onions skillfully fast. Germany sighed again, feeling warmth creep up his body.

Germany shook his head and went to wipe up stray food bits. "Be a little more clean, will you Italien?" He asked in a rhetorical manner. A sweet giggled rose beside him. "Sometimes you have to be messy to get the good out of things, Lud." Veneziano started before nuzzling his into Germany's cheek. "And that good is this combo meal I'm making for dinner. Just for us." He whispered with a soft giggle before pulling back to focus on the dough.

Germany blushed and quickly excused himself to the living room.

The blonde German picked up a book and sat down on the recliner. He slipped on his reading glasses and opened the book to the first page.

Germany wasn't too fond on these types of book genres. Veneziano recommended for him to read Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. The cover wasn't something that peeked his interest either, though the summary caused him some curiosity.

Truly, Germany only thought about picking this book up and reading it was because his best friend said that he'd enjoy it.

As the German read the first few paragraphs, he thought, why did Italy recommend this? It was already starting off on an eccentric note. He had to admit, he was getting into it now.

Nearing the middle of chapter two, the German was pulled out of his mind scape by a sharp whine from his small dauchsund Berlitz.

The blonde looked down and asked what was wrong. The black and brown dog ran to the kitchen entrance and back again with a few barks. Germany rose an eyebrow and placed a bookmark where he left off in the story.

Germany followed his pup to the kitchen and there was an auburn red haired Italian having a coughing fit over the kitchen table. He was trying to not ruin the food with his gross sounding coughs.

Germany's blue eyes widened at the shaking figure of Veneziano.

The blonde hurried to his side as an image from two days ago appeared in his mind. Veneziano was throwing up, withering in stomach pain on the gray carpet of the world meeting room. Germany was now afraid that Veneziano was going to do the same thing.

The blonde guided Veneziano the bathroom. The auburnette was having trouble. He was stumbling about like a cat high on catnip.

Veneziano's footing was all over the place. His knees wobbled and his legs were often giving out on him or locking up at random. His body swayed and got off balance often. The trip to the closest bathroom was unforgiving to his increasingly fragile form.

Upon arriving at the bathroom Veneziano collapsed ungracefully onto the floor in front of the toilet. The auburnette quickly lifted the lid and his stomach churned up bile to torture him once again that day.

Germany hurriedly soaked a cloth in warm water to put on the Italian's neck. His eyebrows furrowed in worry and confusion. Bile spilled out of the smaller man and water soon followed it.

The blonde squeezed out some of the water from the cloth onto Veneziano's head and then placed it neatly on his neck. He thought about pulling out a heat pad to help with the sporadic stomach covulsions. The German then realized he didn't have any.

Germany pulled Veneziano's hair from his face as he hacked out every thing. His own stomach clenched at the painful sight.

He then remembered back 2 days ago.

After the intense, anxiety inducing 45 minutes, the Northern Italian looked dead. Actually, he looked more than dead. His golden honey eyes were glossed over and was partially rolled to the back of his head. His face was covered in tear streaks and was blotched with a rosy red. His breathing was dreadfully slow and wheezing.

They were all signs of nothing good.

Nothing good at all...
