*Y/N pov*
I walk into school and I'm immediately seen by my best friend B/F/N. He/she immediately runs over to me and hugs me. Considering we just got back from spring break and he/she went out of town we haven't really talked much because I slept most of spring break.
We talk about our break and walk to our lockers which just happen to be right beside each other. I open my locker and see a not fall out. I pick it up and show B/F/N. I open it and read it out loud. "There's just something about you...that amazes me - secret admirer"
B/F/N gasp and punches my shoulder and says "look at you having a little boo, ok I'll stop, but honestly, this is exciting!" I stare at the note smiling. I've never pictured being the one to have a secret admirer. "Y/N?" B/F/N says, shaking me a bit to get my attention. "Oh uh yea" I stammer, putting the note in my pocket.
"Sooooooo, how are we going to find out who this is" B/F/N ask. "We wait" I say, shrugging and looking at him/her and continue walking to class. "WE WHAT?! NO! We can't just wait around, this is TRUE LOVE WERE TALKING ABOUT HERE Y/N!" She/he yells getting a few looks from the other students as we walk by.
I notice one boy in particular. His name is Benny. Benny Rodriguez. He's been my crush for...as long as I can remember honestly. We aren't as close as me and B/F/N but we are still close friends, I want to be more than that but, I can't tell him that.
He walks over to me from a few of his friends and starts walking with me and B/F/N to our next class that we all have together. "What's uppppp Y/N?" He says throwing his arm around my shoulder, he always does this but I never think anything of it, we ARE just friends...
"Not much, you?" I ask, not just to be polite, but because yk...I like him. "Ahhh same, but guess what guy, I have a crush on somebody!" My heart drops. "Wow really who, that's great" I say trying to be as cheerful as possible. What was I thinking, of course he wouldn't like me, IM ME!
"You'll fine out" He says smiling and walking into class. We all take our seats and I try and pay attention. "Y/N could you tell us the answer?" The teacher calls on me for not paying attention. "Oh uh-" I look at the question quickly and give an answer and surprisingly get it right since I wasn't paying attention.
The teacher nods and continues to write on the board. I look back down at my paper and continue to draw random doodles while being upset over Benny. The bell rings and I rush out the door.
The bell is for lunch so I continue walking fast down the hall, hoping that B/F/N and/or Benny are not behind me. I get to lunch and hurry and get my food and go sit down. I see them walk in, it looks like they're looking for me so I try and move a few seats over behind one of the pole things to hide.
They didn't see me and it stayed that way through lunch, they just sat with a few of our other friends. I leave after I quickly eat and manage to get out without them noticing. I hurry through the hall to the bathroom, and no, not to cry, I'm severely disappointed but I'm a strong person.
I go in there to avoid them and I lock the door I went to the single bathroom for the door locking purpose that way I don't have to go wait in a cramped stall, "I reckon this is just as bad because it's still a bathroom, oh my gosh WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, he's just a boy Y/N he's just a boy." I think to myself.
Yea...ok I'm going crazy I need to stop and just get over this and go to class. I exit the bathroom and rush to class. I see them both in there but they aren't paying attention and don't see me so I walk to the back and take a seat behind them.
