When I was making this chapter I almost typed in 14. Wow. Whirlwind of realization😂. Next chapter is chapter 35, so yayyyyyy. Love that. Anyway, let's get sister-started😁
I woke up and got dressed and did my hair, basically getting ready for the day. I wasn't very excited.
I'm grounded, there are rumours about me all around school, Jenna hates me, my father is trying to get me in his guardianship, and I may have a stalker! How exciting! Not.
I went downstairs and realized I was frickin' starving. I hadn't been eating well the past few days. I ate some food, but not much because I kind of feel like I'm going to hurl.
Jenna drove me to school in silence. No words were spoken.
"Bye," I said quietly as I closed the door.
"There's going to be someone at the house tonight to fix the yard and you are going to go straight inside. I don't want to hear you did anything while I was gone, because the gardener's going to be keeping an eye on you as well," she said.
I just stayed silent and went in the school. I had been allowed my phone in case anything happened, but she was going to take it as soon as she got home.
As soon as I saw Harvey I embraced him in a tight hug.
"So, you're grounded for a month?" Harvey asked.
"It's only November 27, so it's over by the 26th of December, five days before you turn sixteen," I assured him.
"Good," he smiled.
I smiled back and kissed him.
"Whore," I heard some girls laugh as they passed.
I rolled my eyes and almost didn't catch Harvey, who was lunging out at them.
I put out my arm and stopped Harvey. Thank God for my reflexes. Max helped out, pushing Harvey back.
"Harvey!" I exclaimed as he tried to get around me. The girls were already around the corner. I didn't see a reason for Harvey to be like this anymore.
"Harvey, stop!" Max told his brother.
"Harv! Please!" I pleaded, looking at Harvey.
"They can't get away with it! You're not a whore! How can you be so calm?!"
"It's just gossip! They don't know what they're saying, they're just going along with what they're being told!"
"I'm not letting them call you that!"
"What are you going to do? They're girls, Harvey," I told him. "Now can you please stop?"
"I'm sorry," he sighed, calming down and hugging me.
"Luna, I think you need to do something about this," Max suggested.
"Like what?" I asked.
"Tell someone," Harvey agreed.
"What?"
"You have to stop this. You have enough to deal with," Harvey told me. He understood it was a lot with my dad and being accused of something I didn't do and being grounded for it.
"Okay. Just not now," I sighed.
"Soon," Harvey said.
I spent the whole day not being able to wait for gym. It was the one time I could just use my anger and hit something really hard.
When gym came, I was more than delighted to find that we we're doing soccer. I was picked kind of in the middle of the spectrum. No one knew if I was good or not at basketball, so I get that. Also the rumours were degrading enough to lower everyone's opinions of me.
It was a good game. We won 18-3, which was exciting. When the team celebrated I went into the locker rooms and changed quickly. I left after the Coach dangled a spot on the team in front of me.
The rest of the day flew by, which was ironic because it was boring, and again, I had to walk home. Harvey offered to walk me home even though Sara was taking him home. It was sweet, but I declined politely. I didn't want him to walk me home and then walk himself home.
When I got home, I swear I saw someone peeking through the window when I was inside, but I convinced myself it was just the gardener or something like that.
Inside, I realized some things had been moved around. The gardener probably snooped. Wow. Great service.
I just texted my friends on my phone meanwhile.

I sighed. Sophy and Max would be so cute together. She's so short and delicate and he's tall and sporty. It's like opposites, but opposites attract. They'd be perfect together.
I thought about them as I went to sleep. And no, I didn't eat anything, but that was in the back of my mind.
