Trevor stood on the stage as the woman started the machine for the female contestant. The sound of the machine running was the only sound in the auditorium. The ding of the card sounded and the woman took the card. "Aurora Gregory." She says. A female in the auditorium stood up and he couldn't help but stare. He hadn't seen this girl before.

Aurora walked up to the stage and smiled at Michaek as she shook his hand. "Welcome Miss Gregory... To the Sin Games." He says. The woman smiled and finally spoke. "This is the first time that we've ever had two contestants from the same school." She says in a British accent. "Welcome to the Games." She adds.

Aurora smiled at Trevor and shook his hand. He shook hers too. Michaek told them both that they had a car waiting for them to let their parents know. Trevor nodded and started walking out the door. Aurora obviously followed.

Aurora had seemed to notice Trevor's staring before and she smiled to himself. 'At least he could be an ally.' She thought as she got into the car. "So who's closer? Hmm.. Aurora I see." The driver nodded and went to Aurora's home. Trevor sat inside the car waiting. He thought to himself. 'I hope Mom and Sam will be ok without me.' Aurora soon got back into the car and the driver started to drive again. "Now for Trevor." Says Micheak.

As the driver drove to Trevor's home Trevor thought about how the Games worked. 'I wonder what the games even really are since Mom never let me watch it when it was on TV.' When the car stopped he got out. His mother came out of the house. "Trevor? Why are you home so ear-" She stops seeing the limo. "N-No... Not my boy... Not Trevor..." She hugged Trevor as soon as he got to her. "I-I can't lose my son..." She says. "Mom. You still have Sam." Trevor replies. She sniffles and let's go. "But he still needs his twin brother." She takes a ring that had been passed down to her and puts it on his pointer finger. "I hope this will help you." She adds.

"The Games can't be that bad can they Mom?" Asks Trevor. She doesn't reply for a few seconds. "It's worse... It killed your father..." She says. Trevor's eyes widen. He had been told that his father had died in a shooting while he was an officer. "Was he even a Police Officer?" He asks and his mother nods. "It was before they changed the Entry Age for The Games." She says.
