You were calmly reading your book on your couch when you heard your girlfriend walk in. "Have a fun day at school babe?" You asked as you kept reading. You had a doctors appointment today so you decided to not to go to school today.

She walked in and threw her bag on the floor. "No because someone decided not to come to school today." She growled out and crossed her arms. You sighed and closed your book. "You have friends. Duncan, Alejandro, Lindsey, and Courtney. Even that Mal kid." You said and set the book on the stand next to you.

She threw her arms up in the air. "You act like I enjoy spending time with them!" She said as you sighed. "Do you need a hug? Cause it sounds like your day was shitty." You said and leaned back. She grumbled out some curses before walked over and sitting in your lap.

She was basically straddling you as she glared at you. "You're gonna be wrinkly by the time you reach twenty with that frown." You said with a bored look. She growled at you. "You're supposed to take the frown off my face!" She yelled, making you sigh.

"You're gonna wear your voice out too." You said and rubbed her hips gently. She relaxed slightly as she glared more. "Why do I even bother dating you." She muttered out and leaned her forehead on yours.
You shrugged and pulled her closer. "Beats me. You're the one who asked me out." You said as she wrapped her arms around your neck.

"That's because you were... different." She said. "Care to explain honey?" You asked as she nuzzled into your neck. "I mean... you never get upset. Even when I'm rude to you like everyone else. I've never once seen you mad before. And you don't go by either gender (from now on every one shot the reader is non binary)." She explained and shrugged.

"You just seemed so interesting." She said softly, making you chuckle. "Glad to know I'm kinda cool in your book." You said, making her glare at you slightly. "Oh shush." She muttered and relaxed against you

You chucked softly and rubbed her back. "Love you grouchy butt." You said and kissed her shoulder lightly. "Love you too dipshit." She hissed out
