The funny thing about our childhood is our fresh innocent minds. Sun setting while we run through the woods. The wind blowing lightly on our hair, shoes and boots covered in leaves and dirt, the long trees we climb on to, and the warmth fading away as the moonlight raises, making the skies dark and cold. One day, this young girl comes back from the park to see her Father getting into the white police car. The cold touch of steel on his wrists, and the warm, salty tears falling as he sees his little girl standing there, screaming. She wonders why God hates her so much. First her mother, now her Father has left her to rot as well. She felt all her hope fading away into the darkness as it captures her warm soul. That night, she cried until the sun rises. The warmth she once felt, is no longer there, for all she felt was the cold emptiness in her. Her eyes that held the fire of hope, replaced with a dead, soulless, black hole of death. She lost all her faith in the world. Once viewed peaceful, now seen chaotic. Her mind turned bitter, dark, poisoned, and her innocence has been long gone.
