YOONGI'S POV

Following Jennie from the Seoul bus terminal, all the way to Anyang Motel, wasn't really that easy. But I still can't believe that I made it all the way here, without Jennie noticing that I've following her all day, to this crappy motel room.

Yes, the room right next to Jennie's.

Not more than 20 minutes, I heard a car's honk outside. I got up from the bed, leaving my phone on the bed and peeked out the window, through the curtains. A black, and expensive, SUV car pulled up and parked right in front of her room.

"What are you up to Jennie..." I whispered to myself, afraid that she'll leave me after this rich dude basically just pulled up in front of her -

Are you kidding me.

This old man?

Is she looking for money? Did she really find someone like a....

Sugardaddy?!

I slapped myself. "No way. This is probably the wrong dude." I saw Jennie walk out of her room, but I could only see her adorable back. I opened the door a little, for a better view.

Please go back Jennie, it's not too late...

"It's so good to see you again, honey."

"You too, dad.."

Dad?

JENNIES POV

"The place belongs to one of my friends... There's plenty of room, and there's even a hot tub on the patio." My dad talked to me about his upcoming new place, at the end of this month. He wanted me to live with him, but I'm not sure if I really wanted to.

"Sounds cool, dad..." I replied, focusing on tying the lace on the front of this outfit in the bathroom.

"If I know Yubi the best, she wouldn't let the kids near it..." He talked about his new wife and her kids.

If I remember correctly, she doesn't want her kids near me either, but here we are.

"You're gonna love the place. I promise you." My dad really wanted me to be around, but I don't want to be around his stupid wife's kids and well... Generally Lee Yubi.

"Well, dad. I'm still in high school, and... You know... I haven't checked my schedule that far out, but I'll let you know... Okay?"

He didn't answer, but with a simple 'okay'. I felt bad for my dad marrying a woman like Yubi. She might be all lovely dovely around my dad, but if I'm around, I swear the demon has possessed her somehow.

I stepped out of the bathroom, showing my dad the outfit he wanted me to buy. A black, long 'historical' dress, revealing my arms. This dress literally looks like the emo version of Cinderella's dress.

"Is this too much for the Dickens festival?"

"Yes. It's extra and I like it. Let's go!" My dad happily jumped out of the chair he was sitting on and got out in the car to start he engine.

Yes. Dicken's festival. We're going all the way back to the Victorian era, where queen Victoria ruled britain. I honestly don't know why my dad attends these kinds of events, but I don't want to break his heart and say no. He basically has a thing for historical events.

The Festival

Me and my dad entered the Dickens Festival, and people were acting like they were living in the 1900, with the accents too. Like, literally. They were living for it.

"How's your mother?" He asked me.

"Ah... My mom is doing well. She recently just got a firm job." I told him.

Beside the low self-esteem, attacked by anxiety and is on antidepressants, then she's doing well.

"Jaemyung!" I heard this familiar, yet very obnoxious voice from behind us. It gave me the need of choking someone. We turned around, and saw Yubi walking towards us. Slowly. Like, slowmotion slowly.

Did this woman get more smug or is it just the wrinkles?

As Yubi walked towards us, she called on her two irritating shithead kids.

Lee Yoorae and Lee Dalpo.

"Jennie! Look! I've gotten myself a cane for my outfit!" Dalpo said. He's the youngest one, yet he's not so smart...

"Yes you do... Look at your outfit haha." I really tried to sound interested in his cane and outfit, but this kid fell for it anyways.

"You look pretty." Yoorae said, crossing her arms.

This demon with bangs and this big hat on her big face, is gonna hunt me in my dreams forever.

"Yeah, thanks Yoorae. You look pretty too."

"Jennieee, how are you?" Yubi approached me and gave me a hug. Like one of those fake hugs.

"Great, I love your dress." I scanned her dress. It was tight around her waist, long sleeves and buttons all the way from her chest and down. The bottom part was just... Messed up and weird looking.

Actually, I hate her dress.

"Jaemyung, let's go to that booth over there!" Dalpo said and dragged my dad away from me. The rest followed them.

But I just stood there and watched them from a distance. Dalpo throwing some weird shaped block after the bottles and my dad shouting 'you're a natural talent'.

But I felt like someone kept starring at me at the same time.

---

Me and Yoorae was sitting on a bench alone, with our eyes completely glued to our phones. Yubi came over, and decided to sit down beside me. I didn't really want to look at her, so I kept sitting with my phone.

"Your dad has come such a long way and worked very hard to achieve something like this." Yubi said. I swear, I cannot stand her any longer soon.

"Yeah. He's uh... He's lucky to have you by his side." I smiled at her, hoping she would go away and leave me and netflix alone.

"Mommy! Come and look at this!" Dalpo shouted, and thank god, she vanished like I hoped.

I put down my phone, trying to take a break before my eyeballs becomes square.

"Did he tell you yet?"

God dammit.

"Tell me what, Yoorae?" I answered the little demon.

"Well. I'm not really supposed to tell you yet, but Jaemyung can't send you money anymore. He'll probably help you find a better job or something."

"What? I don't ge-"

"She's pregnant. That's why." Yoorae smirked and left.

Pregnant? Great. Starting a new family. Because fixing ours, apparently wasn't an option.

Tears started welling up in my eyes, but I shook them away. I don't know why, but dads happiness brings me sorrow somehow... I left and went to the bathroom.

"God damn it!" I shouted, grabbing the sink, feeling like ripping it off the wall, and throw it at someone. I really need to calm down.

I left the bathroom, before anyone could walk in and see my panic-frustration-attack and red swollen eyes. I took out my phone to check if Yoongi has seen my message, but he hasn't yet. I rushed my walking, texting him something else, but I accidentally bumped into someone and my phone literally slipped out of my hands and the screen cracked.

Great.

"Shit, I'm sorry, I didn't see yo-" I stopped talking. My brain was out of function.

"Yoongi?"
