14 || It's You

JENNIE'S POV

He began to lean in closer and I stood frozen still. I didn't know if I wanted this or not... I could feel his hot breath on my lips, he was also hesitating if he should kiss me too or not. Then suddenly, I felt his lips beginning to touch my lips.

"YAH KIM TAEHYUNG" I got startled by the sudden shouting behind us. We both turned around saw Jungkook and Jimin standing a few metres away from us. They started to walk towards us.

"Oh my god..." I heard Taehyung whisper under his breath, walking a bit away from me. He was still standing close to me, but I didn't mind.

"What are you two doing out here? It's pretty cold." Jungkook said loud. Taehyung answered him and explained why we were here, while Jimin was literally dead starring me. I kept trying not to look at him, but the boy kept on starring at me.

'What are you starring at?' I mouthed to Jimin, making sure Taehyung and Jungkook didn't see it. 'Have we met before?' he mouthed back and I was looking all confused at him. 'Yeah, at the cafe, dumbass.' I answered and he was about to answer until Jungkook spoke to all of us.

"Well, me and Jimin is gonna go now. See you at school guys!" Jungkook said with a bunny smile and left us. I saw Jimin whispering something into Taehyung's ear, but I couldn't hear what he said. I decided to ignore it.

"Well, I'll go now too... Bye." I said awkward and began to walk away from him.

AT HOME

I plopped myself down on the couch with my legs and arms spread wide everywhere. "What's life, honestly..." I said to myself, turning on the tv and watching the news. There were so many news, that I actually felt mentally attacked by my tv.

"And the last breaking news for today is... Agust D uploaded a new song! The mysterious guy behind the mic won't stop making music, and he put his soul into this song. The song is called 'The Last' and he is talking about his depression OCD, and social anxiety." I quickly stood up and went on my computer. I went on the same website that I heard them talk about. Sum-ag.sk. I searched up Agust D The Last and clicked his song.

"Well, let's see what's so special about this Agust D guy..." I quietly said and listened to his rap.

'On the other side of the famous idol rapper
Stands my weak self, it's quite dangerous
Depression, OCD, they keep coming back again from time to time
Hell no perhaps that might be my true self'

I paused it. It really sounds familiar. "Aish, don't be too paranoid Jennie..." I said to myself and played it.

'Damn huh feeling estranged in reality
The conflict with ideal, my head hurts
Around the age of 18, socio-phobia developed in me
Right, that was when my mind was gradually polluted'

I paused it once again. I am too sure that I read these lyrics somewhere else... I started getting flashbacks and I could feel my heart beating too fast. I started it again.

'At times I'm scared of myself too,
Self hated and thanks to the depression that takes over me
Min Yoongi is dead already (I'm dead)
Comparing my dead passion with others, it's now a part of my daily life'

I shut my laptop and got goosebumps down my spine. It can't be him. I hurried up and took my jacket and shoes on and ran straight through Itaewon.

YOONGI'S POV

*BANG BANG BANG* I got woken up by the loudest knocks, I've ever heard in my whole life. It kept going on... Oh my god, who is this crazy to actually be knocking like this? I opened up the door and shouted with half open eyes.

"YAH, why are you knocking like thi-"

"Move." I couldn't finish my sentence before I got pushed aside by Jennie.

"Yah Jennie! What are you doing here?" I shouted, but something was wrong. She was looking for something.

"Where is it?" Jennie said, looking sharp at me. "Where's what? And why are you being like this?" I asked. She didn't answer but looked around and saw a door. She began walking full speed at the door and then it hit me. My studio.

"Yah yah yah!" I repeatedly said, blocking her way. "Move you long legged grandpa." She said and I got a very offended-confused look on my face. She suddenly grabbed my shoulder and threw me away from the door, causing me to fall. She grabbed the handle and stood there, spacing out at the handle. I quickly got up.

"JENNIE DON'T YOU DARE OPEN THAT DOOR-" She didn't even hesitate to listen to my words and forcefully opened that door. She stood there, rooted to the ground. Not more than 10 seconds, she barged in and opened one of my textbooks. The book I write my lyrics...

I didn't do anything. I stood there, starring at her back, while she was reading it. "It's you..." She said, in a low voice turning around to me. I could see how disgusted she was. What? She didn't think a lazy guy like me could do something like this?
