After Spending some wholesome quality time with Patton to get him on his swagger, where are his vocabulary cards when he needs them?, He decided to keep himself on his charismatic roll by visiting the creative side in his room. He found himself sitting front row to another one of Roman's serenades. Classic Roman. Logan just watched his performance, taking mental notes for feedback in case he wants it. Overall, he had an outstanding performance of the song "Home" by Phillip Phillips. Fun fact, the songwriter won American Idol with that song in 2012. The more you know. After he finished pouring his metaphorical heart out, he noticed his precious little nerd in the audience.
"Logan!? My word, don't sneak up on a Side like that!"
Roman was startled at Logan's 'sudden' appearance. Logan cracked a small smile, also extremely uncharacteristic for him, and started an applause. Hey, this is fanfiction. Everything is supposedly out of character since it's not from the explicit cannon. Much like the Federalists' construction of the Constitution versus the Anti-Federalist and Democratic Republicans' construction of the Constitution. If you aren't in america or haven't been through eighth grade yet, disregard that analogy. Either way, Logan stood up to give his boyfriend a standing ovation, surprising him even further.
"Phenomenal Work, Roman, as always."
Roman was Thomas's creativity and ego. An ego likes to be fed with complements. Therefore Roman likes compliments and if Logan gives him those he will make Roman happy. He wants nothing more than to make Roman happy. Meanwhile, Roman was just confused. Not only was Logan here, but he was giving him an applause?! Roman stepped down from the stage, meeting Logan at the front row.
"Is everything alright Logan? Normally anything loud annoys you."
That is true. Loud noises disrupt the train of thought, and that's who Logan was. Logan shook his head and remembered what Patton told him earlier. Hugs, kisses, and being there for them. Logan took his hand and placed it on Roman's shoulder, leaning over on his toes and pecking Roman's nose. To be honest Logan was just trying to copy Patton.
"One must be supportive of another's passions and abilities to make a relationship stable and healthy. I'm being supportive of your passion for singing, and your voice has developed and harmonized to fit the country-style music. I commend you for that."
Roman never felt prouder of himself. It took a lot to impress Logan, one. Two, he hasn't really tired country songs before and getting positive feedback really helped his self esteem. Lastly, He got a standing ovation and a kiss from Logan! Physical affection! That was even more rare than a blue moon or a snowstorm in Florida! Before Logan knew it, he was being carried and spun around in Roman's arms.
"Logan's proud of me! I have done it! I have finally done it!"
Logan found himself getting dizzy, his glasses sliding off his nose from the accelerated movement. How did he get hoisted into Bridal Style anyways!? Logan felt his face flush bright red, making Roman's sash jealous. Finally, Roman stopped spinning around. However he still held Roman in his arms like a Princess. Roman beamed down at him as Logan pressed his glasses back up against his face.
"So, My Proseperous And Perspicacious Prince, Shall we Dance?"
Logan couldn't help but snicker, his alliteration and use of big words just to please him left a prominent impression on his presence. Logan felt the relief of his feet hitting the ground again, Roman holding onto his wrist and leading him onto the stage. Logan won't lie, dancing sounds fun. Assuming, of course, they had the same idea of Dancing. Suddenly, a few clothes racks were conjured. All of them had different suits, costumes, and a few dresses on them. Roman hurried over to them and found a dark blue one covered with glitter and showed it to him.
"Navy Blue is definitely your Aesthetic, Nerd. However I understand if you want to wear a dress or pick out a costume! I can change the color of all of these to fit your palette!"
Suddenly, all the outfits flashed to a navy blue chromatic scheme. Logan couldn't believe it. Roman was doing all this for him? Sure, he wasn't a fashion guy. Sure, he wasn't the most diverse. Yet Roman was normally so narcissistic and conceited, take his input in the Puzzle Song for example. The fact he changed every outfit for him and just for him was a sweet gesture.
Logan skimmed through the suits, not exactly wanting to wear a gown today, and found the perfect one. He unhooked it from the rack just to look at it. It was a gorgeous ensemble with a normal white button down skirt with spa navy blue sequence tie, a navy blue blazer, Golden cuffs, and navy blue slacks to match the blazer. Sure, it was like business casual, but Logan loves business. The fact Roman would include something practical, sophisticated, and modern like this in his selection showed he cared about his preferences. It warmed Logan's chest. Logan didn't realize Roman was right behind him while he stared at the outfit.
"I knew you'd love that one! My turn!"
Instsntly, everything went red and he went straight for the dresses. Was Roman in a dress mood or did he just want to play the feminine role in the dance? Out of all the sides, Roman did seem to pull off a dress the best. Probably because he bothers to shave his legs and underarms daily and he is the best with hair and makeup. He knows how to make it work. Logan just held his outfit and watched Roman pull out a red glitter dress coming with a lacy red choker, silk red gloves, and those shoes from Kinky Boots. He looked over at Logan and gave him a smirk.
"How's this, Lo? Too flashy or just right?"
The boots were a bit much, but if anyone could waltz in twelve inch heels it's Roman. Logan give him a thumbs up. Instantly, Roman had the entire ensemble on and his regular outfit in his arms. He hung it back up on the rack. Logan looked down at the blazer, slacks, and the rest of his own choice of attire. Logan closed his eyes and instantly he was wearing the business casual clothing. Logan looked up and slung his clothes over the rack, not bothering to hang it up. Roman was more important than any OCD, though that might bother him later. Logan held out a hand towards the cross dressing creative side.
"Shall we Dance?"
Roman smiled and nodded, taking his hand and being pulled close to Logan. Being essentially the same person, they were supposed to be the same height. However Roman had to be extra and wear the twelve inch heels so he wasn't taller. That wasn't normal for the feminine role, but they could work with it. Logan found himself on his toes, trying his best to twirl the Prince in Princess's clothing around. Eventually Roman gave up and shrunk himself as well as changing his shoes instantaneously to some slim Three Inch heels with the same classy tone to them. Roman rests his head against Logan's chest, keeping the dance slow like it's the last song of prom night.
"I love you, SmartyPants."
Logan felt at peace hearing this. He was doing it right. He was doing this relationship right. Logan pulled Roman's chin up and brought him into a long, tender kiss. He upped the the cliche factor of this moment. Dancing on stage, Roman in a fabulous dress and him wearing a nice dress shirt and tie. It's like their own little Mindspace prom. This was nice.
"I love you too, Pretty Boy."
