I look around the airport and that's when I see him. He has a huge smile on his face. I drop all my bags and run as fast as I can towards him. He has his arms out, waiting for me to jump in them. I launch myself into his arms, and instantly feel his warmth. I hear him giggle. He than releases me and we look at each other, face to face. I can't help but notice the softness of his skin, and the perfect symmetry that goes down his face. He's perfect. He smiles and we both laugh. "Wow what an entrance you made" Ruel said, smiling even more. Even his accent is adorable. I laugh and hug him one more time for good measure.
He helps me carry my bags, while we walk towards his car. "I never pictured you being such a great hugger. Behind all those insults, you might actually be a genuine person after all!" I play punch him and he makes an exaggerated scream. "And I never pictured you being such a drama queen."
We put my bags in the trunk of his car and we both get in. The car smells of fresh pine wood. He turns on the radio, to a relaxing radio station. "Where do you even live?" I ask him. "Somewhere over the rainbow. Duh." he smirks. "I hate you already"
We soon arrive to a cute, but small apartment complex. "I know it's small, but it's affordable and cozy" Ruel says with a shrug "I love it. It's adorable" I reply back. He takes me up to the second floor, where he unlocks the door, 071. We head inside and I'm greeted with yet another fresh pine wood scent. As soon as you walk in, you enter the kitchen, along with the the living area. It's small but nice. To the left, there is a hallway with two doors. One door leads to the bathroom, whilst the other leads to Ruel's room. As soon as I walk in Ruel's room, I'm shocked. His room doesn't match the rest of the house. There's a lot of clutter on his dresser, and he has an entire corner of him room, dedicated to his music. He has loads of guitars, and mics. His bed is unmade and there's candy wrappers everywhere. "Oh my god, I didn't even realize my room was this messy. I'm so sorr-" "It's okay. I find it cute actually" I say with a smile. Ruel smiles back at me, relief spreading across his face.
