Chapter 20

Andy POV

I felt like a giddy teenage girl when Ash told me he wasn't mad. He intertwined our fingers and I lead him towards the venue.

"There you are! Where were you two?" Jake asked, walking up to us.

"We just took a walk. Is that a crime now?" I said not wanting to explain everything again. Jake just shrugged and walked off towards the bus.

"I want to show you something Andy." Ashley said pulling me towards my car. I gave him the keys as he slid into the driver's seat. "Okay, it won't take that long." He said starting the car. We drove in silence until Ashley came to a stop and got out.

"Okay close your eyes Andy." He said. I closed my eyes and Ashley took my hand. We walked a long way before Ashley pulled me against him. "You can open your eyes now." he whispered in my ear, causing shivers to go down my spine. I smiled and opened my eyes. We were in a clearing with a sparkling pond in the middle. The sun was starting to rise and casting shadows on the perfectly green grass from the surrounding trees.

"Ashes, this place is beautiful." I whispered, wide-eyed. He grinned, "I found this place a while back and I figure no one else knows about it. I kept it a secret, but I want to share it with you." He said holding me tighter. It was cold outside and Ash didn't have a shirt on, so I took off my jacket and put it around his shoulders.

"Thanks." He said flopping onto the ground. I layed next to him. The grass was cold and wet from the dew that had formed overnight.

"Hey, Andy?"

"Yea Ash?"

"Forever right?" He asked sliding closer and snuggling against my tall figure.

"Forever and always my love." I said and wrapped my arms around him, falling into a light sleep.
