Chapter 25

Ashley POV

All I could see was darkness. But I heard everything that was going around me.

"I'd take your place if I could." I recognized the voice instantly as Andy's I tried to talk but I couldn't. "Andy, baby! I'm here! It'll be okay, I'm okay!" I yelled but no sound escaped my lips. I found that I couldn't move either.

"Andy! Andy can you hear me!" I tried to scream again. I felt his head lay on my chest. I kept yelling, but eventually gave up when I felt Andy's head lift from my chest and boots tapping on the floor. A door opened and closed and all was silent except for the heart rate monitors beeping.

CC POV

Andy walked out of Ashley's room, looking off into space as he walked through the throng of people.

"Hey, Andy how you feeling man?" I asked stepping in front of him, trying to lighten the mood.

"Dead." He said and walked over to a chair. I followed closely behind him.

"Andy, listen to me. Ashley's going to be just fine okay?" I said looking into his dull, lifeless eyes. He nodded and leaned on my shoulder.

"I just want him to wake-up." He whispered. I nodded and pulled him into one of my signature CC hugs. If you don't know, my signature hug is a giant bear-hug. Andy pulled away and smiled.

"There that's better. Now, go get something to eat. I mean look at you! A twig of a boy." I said in a motherly voice.

"Okay mom." Andy said and walked towards the hospital cafeteria.

Andy POV

As I walked towards the cafeteria, I was stopped by Ashley's doctor.

"Hello, Mr. Biersack. Just the person I wanted to see." He said, giving me a warm smile.

"Here are Mr. Purdy's records from tonight. We made it our top priority to get these done for you." He continued proudly.

"Oh, thank you Doctor Waters." I said smiling and moving around him. I decided to look through the records after I ate.

I had eaten a bagel with cream cheese and some grapes and was heading back to the waiting room. I looked through the records, scanning them for important facts.

Age: 28

Height: 5'9"

I froze where I was standing in the middle of the hallway.

State: Coma, Unlikely to survive.
