FRANCO'S
I WAKE UP in a blessed day. Seeing her like it's always the first time when I open my eyes everyday after years of being apart from each other. She's sleeping soundly on my side. Dahan-dahan akong bumangon. I give her a kiss on her forehead saka ako nagtungo ng banyo tapos naghilamos at nagmugmog ng mouthwash. Then I headed myself at naghanap ng maayos na damit saka ako bumaba at nagtungo ng kusina.
I made breakfast for us. She's really something like kahit alam ko kagabi na galit sya dahil sinabi ni Dan ang pag-alis ko but I need to be calm in front of her. And we did had a fine talk. I told her everything like walang labis at walang kulang.
I am giving her the right to know. Alam ko ang alam lang nya yung mga bagay na pinaniwalaan nya talaga so I made my decision for it and she did told me na the girls have my name. And I was so happy hearing about it like I couldn't help it na paulit-ulit kong inaalala lahat.
And when she asked me last night na gusto nyang matulog sa tabi ko then my heart is ragging off that she always do simula ng maging maayos kaming dalawa. I do miss her sleeping beside me at kontento na ako na nakikita ko sya parati.
She loves pancakes kaya yun ang niluto ko. Saturdays is for pancakes and tea for her during breakfast. And i made tea for her while coffee for me. I brought the breakfast sa kwarto ko. She's still sleeping kaya itinabi ko muna yung tray na may pagkain. I look at the clock on the beside habang nakatayo ako sa may gilid ng kama tapos kay Anley then tumunog ang alarm. I turn it off and her hand are roaming on the empty side of the bed.
Her eyes were still close and she was frowning dahil wala syang makapa. She's sniffing at talagang naamoy na nya ang dala ko. Napailing ako and a smile form on my lips. Napabalikwas sya ng bangon sabay bumukas ng mga mata nito then i took the tray. She look at on my direction and I show her the breakfast that I brought. Inilapag ko ito sa harapan nya and i give her a peck on the lips.
"Good morning." I greeted her tapos umupos sa may gilid nya but she didn't smile. She's looking at me with a poker face.
"Pinagtatawanan mo ako." she accused me of something well, half true because I just smile like I miss seeing her being like that.
"I just smile at tsaka it's too early na aawayin mo na naman ako." I told her tapos hinapas nya ako sa may dibdib ko. Malakas yung ginawa nya kaya napaaray ako. And she's too serious. I took ng coffee sabay tayo. "Eat your food." bilin ko sa kanya saka ako lumabas ng kwarto. Kapag ganun sya ay iiwas na talaga ako. I headed myself sa may likuran. Sa may duyan ako tumungo at naupo do'n.
Sometimes you can't understand her. And I need to take a step back. I drank my coffee straight. Masakit yung ginawa nyang paghampas talaga. I left the mug sa may round table and i take off my shirt. Mamulamula yung hinampas ng palad nya but it's bearable. I headed off to the shore tapos sa may batuhan agad talaga ang deretso ko at naupo. Medyo makulimlim ang panahon. Itinuon ko ang aking atensyon sa dagat at medyo maalon sya.
I hope she eats her food and drink her tea. Coffee is fine with me sometimes. I spent for half an hour saka ako bumaba at naglakad pabalik sa resthouse pero napatigil ako ng may makita akong sasakyan sa harap ng bahay nya. It's my Hummer actually. Binilisan ko ang paglalakad sa may likod. I wear my shirt tapos kinuha ko ang mug at dumaan sa may likod.
When I put down the mug on the sink naramdaman ko ang presensya ng dalawa sa may likuran ko. Anley and her visitor are talking on something. Napabuntong hininga ako.
"You have a man here with you." says the woman to Anley and its none other than Brie. Anley didn't say anything.
"I helped him recovered." hayag ni Anley. "And he is doing great now." she added.
