I woke up feeling awful. There was blinding lights in my eyes. What time is it? Just then I remembered that I had school today. I stretched my arm and hit something, I looked to my right and saw Mr. Dallas sleeping peacefully.
I decided to wake him up after staring at him for awhile, "Get up Cam!"
He shifted in his sleep and slowly opened one eye. "What the hell... its 5 am, go back to sleep."
Was it really that early? I looked at my phone to see that it was indeed 5 o clock in the morning. "Well sleepyhead, you can still get up and hangout with me before school."
Cameron pushed himself up into a seating position. "You look awful," he said while looking at me, "absolutely awful."
I scoffed, "Hey jackass! Look at yourself, why dont ya?"
Grinning he replied by kissing my forehead. "What do you want for breakfast, Jack?"
"Nothing.. not much of a morning person."
He gave me a look, "Then why are you up at 5 am?"
"I dunno." I said while shrugging my shoulders.
Mr. Dallas then got out of the bed and walked to my side, and then picked me up. "What the hell coach?!"
He chuckled, "We are going to go on a morning run in Central Park, then I am taking you to get breakfast at the cafe."
"Alright, alright, just let me walk by myself.. please." I said while biting his arm playfully.
As soon as I was free from his grasp, I ran to the bathroom to get into some running clothes. Lets just say that I am going to look awful for school today. After pulling my hair up into a ponytail and brushing my teeth, I walked out by Cameron just in time. "You ready Brah?"
"Brah?" Cameron laughed. "Oh please Jack, just because we are friends does not mean you can call me brah or bro. Never."
We walked out his loft and walked downstairs, to the outside. Central Park. The best place ever.
A little while later, I saw that Coach Dallas was running way ahead of me. Which meant that I was slacking. As I ran up closer to Dallas, I decided to surprise him by jumping on his back. "Hey Cam, you ready for breakfast? Im starving!"
"Sure. Let's go to that cafe on the way to school." He said while carrying me down New York City.
Laughing I said, "I was a mess last night. Wasn't I?"
"No not too bad, sweetheart. But really are you okay?" He asked while setting me down.
While entering the cafe I sighed, "I guess. Its just that I feel kind of sad."
Sitting now in the booth, Cameron grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "Jack Im really sorry, but you can always talk to me. I don't want you to be upset or sad, and I want you to be happy.",
Just then the waitress came and asked what we wanted to eat.
Cameron and I gave her the longest list possible. "We will have two orders of over medium eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes, breakfast burritos, and two big orders of milk." I giggled after Cameron finished ordering.
"What is so funny babe?" Dallas drawled.
I answered back grinning, "Just thinking of how much of a pig we are."
"Aww now don't be mean to me Jaquelin! I like food, but I work out to keep up with it." He said matter of factly.
"Whatever." I said while reaching over to ruffle his hair.
