For those who want to know why they're dancing it's because of a scene I came up in my head for A Winter's Ball, and Helpless eventually, (and no Alex doesn't get replaced with Laurens lmao.) This should be in the part where Eliza's singing "Grind ( withlaurensandthatshowphilipcametobe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) ) to the rhythm as we wine and dine," and her eyes and face overall are actually supposed to be fixed on Alex (she's lovestruck i mean come on) but I was too lazy to draw it sooo

-A little insider of this AU I planned, it's basically a way to make Laurliza (and maybe Hamgelica???) the only cannon ship rather than Hamliza, it's a selfish thing really lmfao.
-Eliza, John and Angelica are the most closest friends, so Eliza would lean on both of them during Helpless when she rants on and on about Alex when she first sees him, and that moment in Helpless when she says "This one's mine."
-Where is Peggy in all of this, you ask?? Oh, she's part of the squad too, but these three are the ones that just couldn't be separated. Peggy's out having fun on her own once in a while (because honestly I feel like she's the type of sister who'd basically be invisible without her other sisters) so she's out and about around the ballroom setting her own reputation.
-John is as much friends with Eliza as he is with Alex. In this AU John and Eliza met before he met Alex, in their early teens. This leads to John being Eliza's de-stresser when Angelica goes up to Alex to hook him up with Eliza. Alex's reaction when he sees Laurens with Eliza? Shocked that Laurens has a female friend that he didn't told him about (he never saw Laurens converse or socialize with any young eligible female before). And damn was she pretty.
-They got separared due to the crowd so that's why Alex never got to see Eliza when they first went inside the ballroom
-Holy shit that's a lot, I have lots of other ideas in mind but it's so long that it deserves another chapter all to itself. Am I ever going to make a fanfic out of this??? Lmfao

Keep in mind that it isn't finished so that explains some parts of their clothes not being visible. Setting that aside I k n o w Laurens' body is basically transparent because of the rest of Eliza's body showing, I just wanted to show it because of my desperation to get her body proportions perfect. Arms are kinda inconsitent, but I have to defend her left arm that's hanging on Laurens because it's supposed to be situated far away from her body (if that makes sense to you lololol). Her right hand doesn't line up to her wrist, I gotta fix that soon, I was still fixing Laurens' coat so that's the reason why there's double lines.

Laurens looks really good actually, I love his legs and the way I drew his arms, am I getting better at drawing boys now???
