Seonghwa's pov

It was a normal day at the office. but in the evening when I got home, things started to get weird. my mom called me that we are having dinner at this fancy restaurant in a couple of hours. My parents have a large company that has been a while in our family. I didn't want to be a part of it so I made a deal with my parents that I can be what I want for 10 years and then I have to come working to the company, ofcourse I have helped with little things in the company so I was practically working there. So this is probably about just some meeting were I have to bee absent.

I looked around at the really fancy and expensive-looking restaurant for my parents. And finally, as I found them at a large table beside the window, which had a beautiful view. I noticed there were two who I didn't recognize yet at the table.

What are they doing here?

Y/n was my mom's friend's child. I had met them a couple of times. Like every tree years when our moms met. But yeah, I knew them. But I don't know why are they having dinner with my family.

"Hi"
I said as was gonna sit next to my mom
" No no no, your seat is there"
My mom said and pointed the seat next to y/n. I couldn't help to notice that they were wearing a full black outfit. Black dress-shirt with black jeans and black vans, a chain hanging on their hips. I could see the hint of tattoos at the edges of their clothing, and the holes in their face from the piercings.

"Mr. and Mrs. Park and mom, can we just skip to the thing you want to tell. I'm more than glad to get some work done before tomorrow"
Y/n tried to sound polite
"No hun, now let's just have nice dinner whit the Parks shall we?"
Miranda, If I remember right, but y/n's mom said. And I swear y/n would have rolled their eyes and groaned loudly if they could.

So after we ate my father spoke
"So there are two things to inform, and that's why we are here"
He said
"Finally"
I heard y/n whisper under their sigh
"You two are getting married"
My eyes widen as my father spoke
"Why the hel-"
Y/n was cut by their mother who slapped her hand on her child's mouth.
"Why!?"

I asked Confused
"Because our companies need to become one. And you're gonna drop that police job you have and come to our company"
I looked at my father
"That's not fair! We had a deal, and is y/n in the company too then?"

I said, now furiously
"No, but they have their own company and it's doing very well so we don't want to bring a well-doing company down"
My mom said
"Then why can't you just work with their company?"
I asked. Everyone went quiet and looked to y/n who didn't have a hand on their mouth anymore
"My company has a different interest" they said quite uncomfortable about the subject but still confident
"Then why do I have to marry them if they aren't even part of the company?"
I turn to my parents
"they are one of the best partners of their mother's company and that way is included. And it's for everyone's best"
My mom said calmly, a bit startled as y/n glared her
"You really think that this is best for everyone huh?"
Y/n said licking their lips.
"Umm, y-yes"
My mom shuttered
"Listen now y/n"
Miranda said looking at y/n
"We both know you will never get married on your own and with this, you don't only get a good husband but you get a better work partner. I don't see any problems here, or if you have something to hide?"
She continued
"No"
Y/n answered dryly and turned their head down. My parents started smiling
"So tomorrow Seonghwa will be moving to your house y/n"
If mom didn't at this point see that you don't just inform things to y/n as if they would say yes to everything, now she did.
"WHAT!"
"Calm down y/n you're gonna be at work all day anyway"
Her mother told
"But"
Y/n cut themself and leaned back on their chair taking a deep breath before looking back at the table.
"Can I have a couple of days that I can make room for him"
they looked pissed, no beyond pissed.
"S-sure"
My mom stuttered under y/n's glare
"Now can I leave"
Y/n seemed like they had a hard time to keep themself calm.
"Go"
Miranda coldly said and y/n left quickly

I quit as a police officer, even I had done only two years of work there. But my parents thought I need to make more money and be in the family business.

Now? I was at a bar, with my friend Hongjoong.
"So, who is it?"
He asked as we sat down
"What?"
I wasn't listening, this all was a lot to take
"Who you gonna marry?"
"Oh um Y/n Moon"
Hongjoong almost spit his drink
"You know them?"
"No, no just heard rumors. Probably some other y/n. But yeah anyways why did you quit as police?"
I sighed
"My parents want me to the company. As our and y/n's company are in good terms, as a good husband I need to be in it too"
I said the husband this sarcastic and smiled a bit
"Oh, so a company huh? Wait, whos company are you getting in to?"
"My parents and y/n's mom's?"
"Ooooh, yeah. Well, let's have some fun tonight?"
"Yeah, I need my head something else to think"

It was weird. I have been living with y/n a month now and I have seen them like... twice? The day I moved in and once they were doing food at like 11 pm. The chicken they made was awesome tho. But they are almost never home. Also, they have a room that has big heavy metal doors and has like five locks. Obviously I can't go there but I'm curious about what is in there. Everything about y/n is pretty mysterious. The company they have, no-one knows about and they don't tell about it. Anyways I'm heading home now so I should open the door.

As I came inside I heard someone talking
"Hello?" I asked and carefully made my way to the kitchen where the voices came.
"Oh hi Seonghwa"
Y/n said when they saw me.  they were sitting with a male
"Hi? Who is your friend?"
"Here is Jung Wooyoung"
" Yeah, and you are Seonghwa right?"
As y/n said, Wooyoung asked
"Yes"
I simply answered
"I heard you were serving as police for a while"
"I did. Plans changed, now I'm working for a company"
"Ouuh"
"Oh also Seonghwa"
I turned to y/n
"I made food so if you're hungry just warm it up from the fridge"
"Okhay, it was nice to meet you Wooyoung"
Then I started to make my way to my office
"Oh hey I need to show you one thing"
I heard y/n say
"What?"
They stood up and headed to the stairs
"Come"
My office is next to the stairs so after they got up I peeked from the bottom of the stairs. Y/n opened all the locks of the big doors and looked pretty excited to show Wooyoung something.
