"Bailey what are you doing?" Curtis asked me and he walked in my room.
"I'm leaving. I can't stay here. I'm sorry but this is to much for me to handle. I love you but I have to go." I said tears at the brim of my eyes.
"Bailey don't let that women bother you. Try to talk to you dad about her. Just try." He suggested.
"He won't listen. He doesn't even care about me."
"He does care about you, the week before you came he wouldn't shut up about you. To tell you the truth I thought I would hate you. Just please go talk to him. For me." Curtis pleaded.
"Tell him to come up here." I said and he nodded.
I didn't want to see him. I can't believe that he would take up for her. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and into my room. I looked up and saw my dad.
"Bailey I just can't believe that she would say something like that. I believe you. I do. But can you please just give her one more chance?" he asked me sitting down beside me.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"Just please don't hurt yourself anymore, come down here and eat your breakfast with us." he smiled at me.
"Okay." I smiled back and we walked back to the kitchen. I sat down at the table and smiled at Curtis. He smiled back and we all ate.
"I'm gonna have to go to work today, why don't you two go to the mall or something." my dad suggested looking at Curtis and I.
"That sounds like a really good idea." I said looking at Curtis.
"Why not." Curtis smiled at me and I smiled back.
After we ate and my dad went to work I went to my room and change into my white high waisted shorts and a black crop top. I curled my hair and put on some makeup and walked down the stairs.
"Are you ready Curtis?" I yelled.
"Jus one minute!" He yelled from somewhere in the house.
I waited for about two minutes and he came in the room with a dozen of roses. He was wearing a tux. My mouth dropped open.
"Take a picture it lasts longer." He smirked at me.
"Why are you wearing that?" I asked him.
"We my darling, are going to someplace to fancy for you to be wearing that. Come to my room and pick out a dress to wear." He said and pulled me up the stairs.
"Why do you have dresses?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"If you must know, they are my sisters. She used to come and visit all the time. She left these here and never came back to get them." He said looking in the closet.
"Where did she go?" I asked him.
"She got married and dropped everything and moved in with her husband." he said and looked at me.
"It's okay because she's happy." He smiled and me and pulled out a black dress that went to the floor. The bust was made up silver rhinestones.
"This is beautiful." I said looking at the dress.
"It's gonna look even better on you. Get dressed." he said and waked out of his room.
