Renjun's POV

We arrived in less than 15 minutes and Jeno parked his car in the usual spot. It's been so long since I've stepped foot on Pack grounds.

After the fight I had with my family three years ago I swore to myself I'd never set foot on Pack grounds again. But it feels really nice the wind is great.

Yet I can't help but feel sad because I'm trapped as soon as I walk inside my house. Growing up it was always like I was in jail.

It only got worse when I entered high school and my father started expecting more of me as the next alpha. But this responsibility the commitment of having a life long partner I don't want any of it.

Is it so wrong to just want to be free? Without having anyone or anything tying you down? Is it a crime to feel this way?

I feel my best when I could just roam around the fields and feel the grass between my paws. The wind thru my fur the rush of making a kill so I could eat.

I love everything about being a wolf freely without any restraints. "Yo Ren we're here. You okay?" I heard Yoongi ask. I nodded snapping myself out of my thoughts.

We get out of the car and it felt like I could finally breathe I didn't have to be someone I wasn't. I always have to pretend I'm some nice guy around people but I'm not. I could give two fucks about what happens to anyone.

I care about myself and my happiness alone. I'm selfish and an asshole I know that. Besides my three closets friends there no one I need to care about that could change my perspective.

I could finally embrace my wolf and roam around freely..at least for now.

"Ready Ren?" Yoongi asked me as we took our shoes off feeling the grass sway between our toes.

I nodded and that's when we shifted. I hunched down growling and my back shifted cracking noises echoing as I haven't shifted in a while, two months to be exact.

If you don't prepare your body for shifting there can be some dreadful pain in your back that bites you like a bitch. I dug my hands into the ground which instantly turned into claws and helped with the pain slightly.

When I open my eyes I can feel their natural color flow as my wolf has more control in wolf form than I do. I howl letting everyone in MY territory know their Prince Renjun is back..

"Will you need our help or do you think you can handle him yourself?" Jeno minds me his yellow wolf orbs gazing at me worriedly.

"No I'll be fine. But I'll need Yoongi's help to talk to Jungkook." I mind back to Jeno

"Okay. We both know I have to keep you from killing him. See you in a few." Yoongi minds the both of us and we nod splitting off into three separate directions each going to our own pack.

Once I'm alone I sprint as fast as my paws will take me, taking in my surroundings as I sprint past them.

The field so big and wide with trees everywhere for miles never ending. The fresh spring flowing constantly with slight waves hitting the stones making a harmony together in the center of the forest.

Deers, bunny's, foxes, horses, squirrels, badgers, all roaming around peacefully. It's a shame most of them are pray but I have to eat something.

As I approach the cliff I know I have to jump to reach the other side like always but I'm feeling so tired today I almost don't want to even try jumping.

My father however would lose his marbles if the soon to be heir of the pack goes missing or is found dead.

I jump fast and high and land on the other side slightly stumbling a bit before I take off at full speed.
