Flashbacks Part 2

WILLOW'S POV

FLASHBACK

I was in the woods with everyone, watching the different things they were working on. Stefan and Elena working in defense, Bonnie and Jeremy on crossbows, Caroline and Tyler on handguns, then finally, Damon. Leaning up against a tree. Watching. I walk over to him. "What do you think you're doing?"I ask. He shrugs at me. "I don't need this pointless training." he says. I smile angrily. "Cocky. Huh."I say and back up a bit and face him. "Come on."I say.

He scoffs. "What?"he asks. I nod.

"Yup, if you are already fit enough you can take me. I'll even put my hands behind my back to make it easier."I say locking my hands behind me. He just scoffs, getting up from the tree and standing in front of me. "Tell me if I hurt you." he says. I roll my eyes. "Don't hold back."I say. He sighs, shaking his head. He vamp speeds to me but I grab his neck and throw in into a near by tree. I run to him at werewolf speed and pin him to it, choking him slightly. "Hey! You... cheated."he choked out.

I let him go, making him fall and gasp for breath. "Rule number one: Never trust your opponent. Do you think the Demons will be easy on you? I didn't even use a fraction of what I use to kill those son of a bitches on you. You. Need. To. Train."I say strictly. He gets up, and heads to Elena and Stefan. I hear a snap, then someone curse. I turn to see Jeremy missed his shot. I walk over and take the crossbow from him. "It's harder then it looks."I say.

He scoffs. "Ya, no kidding."he comments. I smile a bit, and load the bow. "It's all about focus. If you stress, you'll never make it to your target."I say. I put it back in his hands and stand behind him. I guide his arms to the right position while peering over his shoulder. "Just retract..."I mumble, as he pulls the arrow back. "Aim..."I mumble again. He lifts it up to eye level. "Now... take a deep breath. Focus on nothing but the target."I say into his ear. He takes a deep, then pulls the trigger. It hits bulls eye.

His eyes go wide as a bright smile forms on his face. "Nice."I comment, stepping back. He just turns and nods a thanks. "Thanks Willow."he says. I smile slightly. "No problem."I say, then walk to my bag and sort my knifes. Not really paying attention to the shocked, jealous and angry eyes that were sent my way.

FLASHBACK OVER

It had been a few hours since I stumbled into the hospital. I have no idea where Stefan and Damon are and frankly I don't care. They're probably still mad at me for the argument that we had before the fight. Well, the feeling is mutual. There was a knock at the door before it opened to reveal Meredith. "Hey Willow, I just came in to get some blood work done." she says walking over with a needle. I just nod, not really trusting my voice. It's been really hoarse lately, I have no idea why though.

She sticks the long needle into a vein in my arm, I hiss as slight pain fills me. Why does this hurt? It shouldn't hurt. "Sorry, it'll be over soon."she says, and soon the needle is retracted with the blood in a tube. She smiles at me before giving me a cookie. I chuckle, but it sounded more like a breathy cough. I eat the cookie none the less though. "We'll run some tests then get back to you."she says. She leaves the room, that's when my phone rang. I looked and saw it was Bobby.

I didn't have the strength to get it so I let it go to voice-mail. I let my mind wonder off how easy my mind used to be.

FLASHBACK- 1853

I was playing with a five year old Damon in the garden. Mother wanted us outside and not constantly smothering her with worry 24/7. I don't blame her though, this pregnancy is the hardest out of all the children. He pulls me into the flower field and lays back into them. I giggle as he makes an angel shape. "Come on Will, you too."he says looking up at me. I smile and lay back as well, moving my arms and legs to make an angel. I felt out of breath for a second, but it soon came back. Huh, ok?
