WILLOW'S POV
I was in my room, packing the little belongings I had in my bags. I got my ring back from Damon when we got to the house. I'm keeping my word, they didn't care enough to come when Meredith called them so I'm leaving them. They obviously have forgotten what family means. It's time to let go and start new. I sigh, zipping up my last bag and look at the empty room. I've been here two months and I had both good and bad memories. But they are all just that now. Memories. It was 3 in the morning so no one knew I was leaving. I quickly grab my two bags and head downstairs, closing the guest room door. I walk down the stairs, careful to miss the one step that creaked and went to the door. "You're leaving?"a voice said, making me freeze.
I turn to see my youngest brother with sad eyes, the ones that always made me cave but I kept my emotionless stare. "I know when I'm not wanted."I say simply, turning to the door again and open it. "Please don't leave." he says, making me freeze again. Those words were familiar.
FLASHBACK
I was laying on my death bed with Stefan by my side. I felt bad, he was only ten and he had to watch me while I waste away. "Please don't leave. I need you Willow."he voice cracked as he held in tears. I smile sadly, wiping away a stray tear from his cheek. "It's ok Stefie. You'll be ok, you still have Damon."I try to comfort. He stops him foot angrily. "But he's not like Mama!" he shouts slightly, making me cringe lightly at the loud sound. I look at him and grab his hand. "Stefie look at me."I say softly, making him look at me. "I'll always be here. You might not be able to see me but I'll be here. I promise."I say, kissing his forehead.
FLASHBACK OVER
"You promised me you'd always be here, please don't leave now because of the mistakes we've made."he practically begs. I turn to him, drop my bags walking over to him. I pull him into a hug, practically crushing him as I try to hold in tears. "Please don't leave me and Damon alone."he whispers. I look down at him, kissing his forehead. I pull away and look down at him. I should stay, but I can't trust them to not turn on my again. "I'm sorry."I whisper, then turn to the door. I quickly grab my bags and head out the door and to my mustang. I take it back to the rental place and change into a wolf, my bags on my back as I pass the Mystic Falls sign.
They say your home is where you're heart is... guess I don't have a home.
DAMON'S POV
I woke up to hear things smashing in the parlor. I quickly run to the room and stop Stefan from smashing more things. "What the hell Stefan?!"I yell at him. That's when I notice Stefan's in tears. "What happened?"I ask softer. He just looks behind me. I follow his gaze to see the open door. My eyes widened. "No."I mumble, vamp running to Willow's room to see it's completely empty from Willow's stuff. I fall to my knees, tears threatening to escape.
She's gone.
