|Chapter Twenty-Six|

Sherwin smiled warmly, the sound of Jonathan's voice always comforting. He was sitting in a tree outside, wrapped up in a blue hoodie that smelled like the cookies he and his boyfriend made. And up to his ear was a phone, with Jonathan talking softly to him so not to wake his sister up, whom he'd told Sherwin passed out after staying up all night studying. Jonathan was just...so good.

From the tree he could see into Hayley's faraway room, where her and Tinley were still talking, somehow never bored of one another. But everything was better than okay right now, so Sherwin was fine with that.

"Sher," Jonathan pulled him out of his thoughts, and he turned away from the window. "What do you think?"

"Hm?" Sherwin asked, furrowing his brows. A bad boyfriend, he was. Sherwin could practically hear the fond eyeroll on the other line, and giggled.

"I said," Jon over emphasized, mockery in his tone, "if  you wanna go to a waterpark this weekend. With some friends. We've still got some time before school."

More time with his beautiful, handsome, sweet, warm, kind-hearted boyfriend? Was that even a question?

"Yeah, sure.  Sounds really really really really fun."

"Really?" Jonathan chuckled. What a great sound! That was the best sound! He really liked Jonathan. Really really. Jonathan continued talking to him about god-knows-what, but Sherwin spaced out a bit. Right. Bad boyfriend.

His eyes drifted back towards the window, and then his heart stopped.

Tinley and Hayley were talking, laughing, oh so close together. And then Tinley was leaning in and-

She kissed her. She kissed Hayley, she kissed his sister, his poor, heart-broken sister who still wasn't over Joey and still didn't know a lot of things and still wasn't ready for things and still. Hayley was kissing back. And Sherwin forced himself to look away, cause this wasn't for him to see and he really, really wished he hadn't. Really really.

||hello friends i dropped this one on yalls tonite. oops. i wrote this at like 4 am last night (morning? idk) and apparently my demon hour thoughts are pure gay moods! h*ck! anyways. im so fucking tired. i had a tourney this weekend and we placed third!! out of like ten teams!! i Lov sports. so whats been up with u!!! to catch yall up to speed: ive been wearing More Gay Clothes,, a few weeks ago marked a year since i came out and (TW//!!!) valentines day marked three months clean for me!! ive been listening to a H*ck ton of good music,,, (stream trench) (stream sunset season) cavetown, anyone??? conan??? thank u. also i was listening to the 1975 while editing this so,,,, yeet. my gf dumped me!! by not telling me and blocking me anywhere and not saying anything so!! (im still in love with her but shhh) uhh i have a best friend now :') shes the Best,,, also theres this guy (stereotypical Bisexual here, crushing on 1 dude and 2977812891 girls) hes kinda cute idk lmao. also summer camp starts in 140 days and counting!! i met up with my future roommate about a month ago (first time since camp last year, tho we werent roomies then) annnd shes gr8. i made some friends.good ones. its nice. anyways, you probably dont care about any of this, just wanted to update u all bc I Lov U. to all those asking, yes, i'm going to continue writing this story! it'll take longer tho, bc i lost all my files from before, so i have No Idea what i was planning before nor have any pre-written chapters. but yes, this story will continue being updated!! thats mostly it. if u have any questions, (or input!) leave them below!! bye bye loves (you'll be seeing more of me in ur notifs !)||
