Chapter Four

  Jewel Johnson's P. O. V.

I wake up by my dad throwing a tote full of hot water on me! He starts to squeal as I chase him downstairs.
  "Mama! Help me!" He screams as we pass the kitchen door.
  She turns around as we run past. The idiot runs out side! We pass by the kitchen window where he screams "Mama" again. Then, we pass the front door where he screams it yet again. But, when we pass the back door is when I see a small poor laying on the ground. I grab and wack him upside the head with it. I didn't hit him too hard. Just hard enough he'll stop throwing hot water on me. Well, I guess I don't have to take a shower this morning!
  I walk back up to my room so that I can get dressed and feed my three horses before going to school. Oh yeah! I never mentioned that we owned a farm and ranch! I have three mustangs that I broke on my own. U have a white one named Snow. A black one that I named Shadow. And a red one that me and my dad both named Spirit. Yeah three S's.

  I found each in different areas on our land. I found Spirit in the center of our caddle. Shadow I found him on the ranch eating my parents horses food. Snow, well, she was my difficult one, I found her in the woods stuck in between two trees bleeding. Once, I got her out I jumped on her bare back and held on for dear life! When we finally got to the house she was broke in enough she trusted me enough to out her in her own stable next to Shadow and Spirit. They were all easy to breaks since I've down it over a million times.
  "I'm going to feed Shadow, Snow, and Spirit!" I yell as I walk out of the house seeing my three babies waiting for me.
  "J. J.!" I hear someone yell behind me.
  I turn around and see my dad running towards me.
  "Yes sir?" I ask as he stops in front of me.
  "Can we race our horses to the school? I promise I'll take whichever one you want back here and give it a extra apple.
  "Yes. But! You have to bring mom with you on your back! Since, you like to cheat." I say smirking.
  "Fine!" He grumbles as he turns around and starts to stomp back to the house.
  "Oh and the winner gets a hundred dollars at the finish line!" I yell at his retreating figure.
  He tenses and starts to stomp towards the house faster. I laugh and give each of my babies a kiss.
  "Who wants to go for a run?" I ask them.
  Snow starts to whine as soon as run left my mouth. I smile and grab my saddle and jump on her back. I ride her back to the house and catch the backpack mom threw at me.
  "Ready!" We get close to one another.
  "Set!" We sit up so that we can go faster and easier.
  "Go!" I tap Snows side and she takes off running.
  I laugh as dad's horse eats my dust.
 
  Cole Youngblood's P. O. V.

  J. J. should be here any minute now. Adams been standing here talking to us for about 30 minutes since we're the only ones that are nice to him.
  "So does Jewel-" he gets cut off as we all hear shouting and horses running towards the school entrance.
  "I'm gonna get you!" I hear Mr. Jonsohn scream in the distance.
  "How! You're eating our dust!" J. J. screams back.
   I look up and see Jewels riding Snow. They're running pretty fast for her to just be riding. I watch as Mr and Mrs. Johnson comes into view. I hear Mrs. Johnson laughing historically at her husband's cussing. Jewel stops infront of us and jumps down.
  "Hey y'all. You did good girl. We're getting some of the ol' man's money. He's gonna get y'all  some nice new shiny horse shoes!" Jewel says excitedly.
  Snow starts whine at Jewels excitement like she's laughing. Mr. and Mrs. Jonsohn stop beside her and jump off.
  "You cheated! You used Snow! She's the fastest out of our horses!" He exclaims frustrated.
  "I don't know if your aware of this or not. But all three of my horses are wild mustang that I broke. They're gonna be faster than your horses. Now pay up ol' man." Jewels says holding out her hand and petting Snow with the other.
  He grumbles before slapping two hundred dollar bills in her hand. Mrs. Johnson is smirking behind her husband.
  "Are you gonna race her anymore?" She asks as Jewel hands Snows reigns over to her.
  "No. Yes. Maybe." He says trying to let Snow. She jerks he head away and whines at Jewel. Jewel laughs and grabs his hand and outs it on her nose.
  "I'm telling you she doesn't like you. Good thing you brought mom, ay?" Jewel laughs at her father's pout.
  They bid goodbyes and ride off on their horses.
  I look over at Adam and see him looking at Jewel with a open mouth. He literally has drewl on his lip! I elbow him in the ribs and walk to class.
  He definitely has a crush on Jewel. And she has one on him too. Now how to get them together?

  A/N

  I found out some deviating news today. I have had two cyst on my ovaries on both sides since I was 12 years old. They switch sides every now and then. Me and my family were talking about my possibilities of having kids. My mom and grandma both said that since I started getting cyst at such a young age and them not going away and staying away like they should. I may never have kids. I told them adopting doesn't sound so bad. They sighed and said, "We're just scared you may never get to see little you's running around your house when your older." Yeah it hurts knowing I may never get to have kids but I've known this since I was 12 years old by the pain I was getting lol. My mom gets scared every time  I say that I may have a cyst on my ovaries again. I go to the doctor and yep! There's the cyst on my ovaries!
