Chapter Nine

   Jewel Johnson's P. O. V.

I watch with a bloody mouth as Adam beats the hell out of Mr. Higgins. Mr. Higgins tries to fight back but Adams pounding in his face! I look back at my family and friends and see them standing there in shock. I look at Tim and see him looking at me then at Adam.

Grab him! He mouths to me.

I nod and grab Adam by the back of his shirt and yank him back off of Higgins. He turns and glares at me but, he notices it was me and not some punk not trying to start anything with him and smiled softly at me. He pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head? Where'd that kiss come from? As we're hugging we don't notice the two boys trying to sneak up on us. As I start to look at Adam I hear mine and Cole's bird call sound off three times behind me. I freeze and turn to my three o'clock and see Carson and Anthony standing there looking at me in shock before realization dawns on them. They turn to Cole and glare at him before starting to walk to my family. That was their first mistake. Their second mistake was when they decided to harm my family.

I go into protective mode and take off running like a bat outta hell at the two stupid idiots (if anyone gets that reference you are my best friend!). As soon as I'm right behind them I tap both of their shoulders softly making them think it was their whores. As they turn around I run and jump off of the nearest tree which just so happened to be a foot away and kick them right in the nose as they look at me. As I land on the ground like an assassin I hear people clapping. I stand up and look at my family and see they're all standing there smirking with proud looks in their eyes. I smile and bow sarcastically.

"Good job, sis!" Vince and Colton exclaim as I stand back up.
