Maceys POV
It's been a month of being in LA and I was missing my friend and mom in Texas so Awsten said me and him could y down and see them. I was packed and ready to go. We walked out to the car. I couldn't wait to see my friend, my mom and of course Knight my dog!
*time skip*
We finally got on the plane. I was still scared of flying. I was shaking and Awsten must have noticed because he smiled at me grabbed my hand holding it. "You always make me feel amazing when I feel like shit" I say looking into his two colored eyes. We started leaning in but then the flight attendance came over the speaker and scared us causing us to both jump. I pulled up my sleeve checking the cuts from a month ago. Awsten looked at my arm and there were just scars which I was okay with. "You are one month clean" he says. "I know I'm so happy" I said.
*Time skip*
We got off the plane and we're already at my house. We knock on the door and my mom opens up smiling and hugging us both. She didn't know we were coming. "I wasn't expecting you two" she said. "Are you here to tell me you guys are bringing me grandchildren" she joked. "Shut up mom" I laughed. "Well are you guys together" she asked. "What no" Awsten nervously giggled. "Well then why are you holding her hand" my mom asked. Oh yeah he grabbed my hand when we got out of the car because we were goofing around. "Oh" he said pulling away from my hand. My mom let us in. "So Awsten let me hear you guys sing" my mom said pointing to his guitar. "Oh sure" he said picking it up. "Let's sing Lucky people since I know all of it" I said. We sang it and she smiled. "When did you write this song" she asked him. "Hmm like two weeks ago after me and my ex's breakup with Macey" he explained. "You dated someone" she asked. "Yeah but fuck her — I mean frick her" he giggled. "It's okay you can swear" she said. "Who is the song about" she asked him. He scratched the back of his neck looking at me. My mom got the hint but I didn't understand. "Mom stop making him feel uncomfortable" I said laughing. "I'm just saying you guys would be cute" she said. "Oh look it's knight" Awsten said changing the subject. He picked him up. Him and animals were so cute. "Oh mom we're spending the night then leaving tomorrow" I said. "Okay hunny... oh and does he know" she said talking about the cutting cause she knew I did it. "Yeah" I say. "She's been clean for a month" he said pulling up my sleeve. "Awsten your a miracle sent from heaven" she said Hugging him. "Haha Yeah" he said blushing. "You helped my baby girl and I will always love you for that" she says. He walked upstairs to my room with the dog while I stayed to talk to my mom for five seconds. "He makes me really happy mom" I said smiling. "You seem to make him happy too" she says. "Mom he doesn't like me I kissed him and her didn't kiss back" I said. "Oh hunny mabye he's just scared" she said. "I don't know but when he was here she found out I cut and he cut a really deep cut in his arm...just for me because he said "When I see you hurt it hurts me even more" and I was so shocked" I explained. "Hunny he likes you if he did that" she said "better yet I think he's in love with you" she continues. "I don't know but I'm gonna get some sleep" I said going up to my bedroom.
