" what am i even doing here in the first place ? " [ y/n ] asked herself as she was kept under wraps from why she was even standing in a practice room in the first place .

the boy stood in front of the mirror simply shrugged as he replied , " you're gonna help me film a dance video . "

the [ h/c ] girl's eyebrows furrowed as her bewilderment continued to flow through her mind as she had no comprehension to what he just said .

she couldn't bite her tongue back as she asked him , " if you needed help filming , why don't you just ask chenle, johnny , mark or jaehyun who are your members that are currently in the room with us . "

her finger pointed directly at the aforementioned boys who simply waved before they continued to play around with the equipment .

jisung's fingers began to twitch as he began to shift his weight from one foot to another , like he was trying to stall on answering her questions .

[ y/n ] could no longer bare to just stand there in awkward silence so she simply told him , " you tell me nothing but the truth right now park jisung or else i will tell haechan to change your wallpaper to cockroaches again . "

shuddering at the mention of his worst fear , the blue haired boy looked down at his shoes as he answered , " the hyungs wanted to see the choreo that we made since they wanna feel the apparent chemistry . "

flabbergasted at the answer , she looked over to the members who simply raised their hands in the air as mark spoke in english , " there is chemistry and you guys are just denying it so get on with it ! "

raising a brow at the canadian boy , she remarked in english too , " you say that like there's no chemistry between you haechan . "

he simply waved it off as he turned his attention back to the others , leaving the short conversation with the older members laughing at the remarks whereas the the youngers were left in slight confusion .

simply sighing , the exasperated girl took her shoulder bag and jakcet off before placing them near the mirror which was quite a distance away from the supposed camera directors .

jisung was shocked at her calm response but he shrugged it off as he tried to calm his racing heart that felt like it was going to burst at any minute .

as they took their positions , the male dancer leaned over to her shoulder as he whispered in her ear , " when we're both free, i'll treat you to that place you love to eat so much . "

looking at his reflection , she simply mouthed to him that it was a sealed deal that she was definitely not going to pass on .

not even if she could feel the butterflies taking over her stomach as jisung stood so close to her that she could feel his breath on the back of her neck .

taking one final check of everything , johnny yelled to chenle , " music cue ! "

with that signal , the chinese boy played the music while jaehyun pressed the recording button on the camera .

nothing could be heard in the room except for the music playing in the background and the occasional cheers of the directors whenever the pair became touchy .

throughout the whole dance , neither of the two could take their eyes off of each other as they tried to match their steps to the beats of the music .

a pink tint crawled up their cheeks whenever there was little space left between the two of them but they disregarded it as just a sign of tiredness .

they were so stuck in their own world that they had not noticed that the music had stopped until the applauds of the other members brought their heads out of the clouds .

clearing her throat , [ y/n ] looked over to the blue haired boy once more before she told him in a shaky voice, " i should probably get going now so i can finish watching the greatest showman . "

before she could walk away from him, jisung grabbed her hand and asked the important question , " rather than that , can we go to that food place instead of some other day ? "

the [ h/c ] girl looked over at him as she wondered aloud , " like a date ? "

he scratched the back of his neck before he replied , " um , that's what i was hoping for . "

a postive feeling exploded in her heart as she gave him the answer that he hoped for , " i'd love to go on a date with you park jisung . "

without any hesitation , he wrapped his arms around her with a massive smile on both of their faces while the directors let out cries of happiness about how their maknae was growing up so quickly with some letting out a few wolf whistles that caused them to receive a slap on the head .

it didn't matter to either of the dancers as the euphoria spread through their systems with neither wanting to let the other go .
