Breathing in deeply, Dean rose from the ground and dusted off his clothes, looking around. All of the trees lining the area had collapsed outwards, with him being the epicenter. What had happened? The last thing he remembered, he was in the Pit.

Shaking his head, Dean started walking and trying to find civilization.

When Dean found the gas station, he breathed a sigh of relief. Running into the store, he grabbed a bottle of water and chugged it, soothing his aching throat. He then grabbed some food and started to eat it, which he hadn't done in what felt like years.

He then noticed the emptiness of the place. There were no employees, no customers, not even any animals. Dean walked over to the shelves and grabbed the salt, pouring it on the window sills and doors.

After finishing demon-proofing it, he opened the cashier and took the money, putting it in a bag with food and water. He then walked over to the mirror.

He was covered in dirt, put he didn't feel any pain like he should have. Lifting his shirt, he saw that all of the scars that should have been there were nonexistent, not a flaw to be seen. However his shoulder hurt for some reason. Lowering the collar, he saw what looked like a red handprint. Touching it, he hissed at the pain that followed. Suddenly, the radio and TV turned on.

What followed was the first time the voices weren't in his head.

"Dean. Find me." The voice said. It sounded like the one called Castiel, but he couldn't be sure. He saw that all of the glass had broken, but the salt was untouched.

The voices were not demons then.

Seeing Sam for the first time since his death was rather strange. He seemed different somehow, and there was something keeping him from getting too close. A sixth sense for danger. But he didn't see why Sam would be dangerous to him.

The even stranger thing was that there was a woman with him that kept popping up. But she wasn't a woman. Her face looked like the ones he saw hours before his death. The faces that weren't human. The faces of demons.

When he asked Sammy about her, he brushed him off and said she was just a fling. His Sammy had lied to him. The demon was Ruby, and Dean knew it. And he was angry. Very angry.

"Dean. Dean." He jolted up, half expecting to be in Hell. Instead, Sam was above him, looking worriedly at him. He got out of the bed and brushed Sam off, telling him he was fine. Sam didn't push anymore.

Over the years, I couldn't do much but watch. First when he was born, and then as he grew and became more powerful. Dean Winchester was a strange being. Very quiet usually, but always with a flamboyant act around him when family was around. It was amazing how great an actor he was.

But there was something about this one that I couldn't quite figure out. A power, laying deep in the child's soul. On occasion, it would shine brightly and illuminate his soul like a beacon at night, but it would usually stay dormant as the child blocked it.

Then, Dean stopped blocking it. He had been 21 at the time, and almost been killed, but he started to let the power rise. It began slowly, only slightly lighting his soul, but after a few months, it became his soul.

I wasn't entirely sure how this was possible, but Dean Winchester had found a power deep within himself that caused almost all beings to either love him or hate him.

He wasn't a prophet, I knew that, but nothing else could explain this strange power. It acted like grace, but it was impossible for a human soul to maintain that kind of power without losing their mind.

I would have to meet Dean Winchester in person.

I'm not entirely sure where this is going to go, because I'm only on season six and I was on four when I started this, and there's just so much in Supernatural that I don't think I would be able to follow the whole timeline. Any suggestions? Hope you guys like where this is going!
