10. Work (2)

           

A cold draft blew across my skin this morning. I opened my eyes and looked at the naked beauty lying next to me. His cheeks held a faint pink colour that looked beautiful against his tanned skin. I slid out of Luke's loose grip and walked into the bathroom to clear up. I picked up all the loose clothes that had been thrown around last night and threw them into the laundry hamper in my bed room. I went back into my bedroom and got some black jeans and a plain white t-shirt and some underwear. I had a quick shower and pulled them on. I left my face bare and my hair wet as I would be getting them done at work.

Luke was still sound asleep once I had finished in the shower and getting dressed. I placed one light kiss on his clammy forehead and left my bedroom. I went into the kitchen and began cooking breakfast for the boys. They would all be going into University today so they need their energy.

Half an hour later, the boy's breakfasts were made .

"Hellooo?" Lewis shouted as he and Harvey entered the room. "Ooh, Yummy" Lewis said and sat down next to Harvey who was already pouring himself a cup of water from the jug on the table.

"I'll wake the rest." I said and smiled at the two boys. I met Noah and Zach half way down the stairs. "I cooked breakfast" I said as I walked passed them. Zach kissed my cheek and the two went into the kitchen.

"Luke?" I said as I walked into my room. Luke moaned from the bed.

"Morning" He groaned.

"Come on sleepy, breakfast is ready" I said and dragged him out the bed while throwing a pair of pyjama trousers, that had been left in my room at some point, at him.

The boys all ate, wished me luck today and then left in the one car to go to university. I grabbed my bag and keys and walked out to my car.

I drove to work and ran inside the building, seeing that it was 10am and I wanted to get the majority of the clothes done today.

I walked in and the team were all waiting for me to get ready. Chloe (the makeup artist) and Sam (the hair artist) got to work on me straight away. Chloe was going on about her boyfriend and how he cheated on her over the weekend. Sam was trying to sooth her, saying that he hates lads and that he thinks he is going to go straight. I laughed at the appropriate times and I added my little inputs where needed. I just kept thinking I haven't seen Charlotte today.

Connor came over and gave me a pair of jeans and a coat. I needed to get through the rack of coats and jumpers today. We are starting to get into the winter season the next few weeks. This week should be outerwear and next week is loungewear.

I put on the first coat and took a few shots. My hair was in big curls and my makeup was natural. The coats and jumpers were all finished in about six hours. I changed my jeans part way though and changed the shoes I was wearing. About an three hours in, my hair was half put up into a bun.

About four hours in, I saw Charlotte walk through and go up to the camera man. She waved at me and walked back off in the other direction. When I had gotten through the rack, the team started getting one of the other models ready and told me to go to Charlotte's office.

I collected my things and walked to her office. As I walked in, she was on the phone. She signalled for me to sit down. As I sat, I got my phone out. The group chat with the boys had messages. They said that Luke, Zach and Noah were all going out for this dinner that they were invited to by the university. To celebrate their work in the past few weeks. Lewis and Harvey said they were going home. I just put that I was going to be home in an hour or so hopefully.

Charlotte came off the phone and brought a bottle of water over to me, and she came and sat on the sofa with me again.

"Charlotte I" I started but she butted in. 

"Yes, you heard correctly. And yes, I would be willing to get with you" She said and I took a swig of my water, moistening my dry mouth that had occurred.

"Right" I said. Confused.

"I just didn't want to make you feel awkward, so I thought I would make sure I spoke to you" She said and laughed.

"No, its cool. I was just shocked, I never knew you were-" I started.

"I'm bi. I just hardly get with girls but I want to try it, and why not with you" She said and shrugged.

"I would quite like to." I said and paused, "but I think that I would need to talk to the boys about it." I said and she looked surprised.

"Oh, okay yeah that's cool, but if it happened no one would know right?"

"Right" I confirmed.

We carried on catching up until about 5 and I decided it would be best if I went home. We spoke about the items I needed to try before the end of the week, and a few favours that she needed. Again, she walked me out to my car and we parted ways.

I drove home but it took me a little longer seeing as it was after five and rush hour was as bad as usual. I ran inside and saw Lewis and Harvey in the kitchen.

"Wanna watch in my room?" Harvey asked me and Lewis. We both agreed, grabbing some popcorn and cheese puffs before going into his room. When we got onto the bed, we decided to get uder the covers for warmth. When I looked over at the lads, they were cuddled together. I laughed at them and signalled between the two of them and their position.

"Oh, God. Now I see why people think we are dating Haz" Lewis laughed. We all were crying with laughter and had stomach aches from laughing too hard.

"Come on, it's you that is acting gay, I'm just being my normal curly self!" Harvey replied in a smug voice. This made me and Harvey laugh even harder.

"Oi" Lewis shouted and jumped over my body inbetween the two boys and pounced onto Harvey, pinning him down.

"Say that your joking" Lewis (fake) sternly said. Harvey lifted his head and captured his and Lewis lips in a short kiss. Lewis smiled and rolled off him, taking my space on the bed, and pulling me on top of his body.

"Rose?" Lewis asked, placing Harvey's laptop on the floor.
