Chapter 8: Acknowledgement

Feeling so much despair and anxiety. Lucas ran after his sister. He kept on apologising but unfortunately she didn't acknowledge his existence.

He was being ignored.

He felt like crying as he saw his sister's expression. Her expression is breaking his heart as her ignorance risen. She never even gave him a glance. He would apologise but not a single word is coming out of her mouth.

when the party is over, she just followed her father to the carriage. She never even let Lucas know it is time to go. She makes him feel that he didn't even exist anymore! He felt so sad and he felt regret.

He should have not done that to her! He should have side with her! That was his promise but he broke it. He felt ashamed as well as angry to himself. He felt so angry at the girl at the garden!

'It's all your fault' his anger is so inflamed that he don't know where to vent it againts.. and sadly he just push the blame to someone else..

He resent the girl's existence. If that girl never exist.. his sister would still love him and care for him.. not like this! His hatred is becoming big every second past..

As they finally reach the carriage they both came in..

He sat beside his sister. He just can't imagine the world without her. He felt like dying when she is ignoring him.

'Please stop' he thought as he was about to cry.

The carriage finally moved as the Duke, their father took a seat.

"Did you two enjoy the party?" The duke asked with his warm smile

"Yes father!" Michaella smilled happily as her cheerfulness regained its power.

"Did something happen?" He asked as he felt the 'sad' aura his son emits

Michaella suddenly grabbed her brother's arm. She then gave him her usual worried eyes. "Brother, why are you sad?" To his suprise he was finally acknowledge by his beloeved sister! He felt happiness that he wants to cry!

The Duke is so suprised when his son shed some tears. "Wh-what happen son?" He asked worriedly but his son smilled at him so brightly as he wiped his tears away. "N-nothing father! I-I'm just happy"

The Duke find it kind of weird but he left him off this time..
