Chapter 19

"Can you repeat it again, little brother?"

Present_

Everyone is in shock except for Raven..

Geraldine's angry face was then changed into a terrified one..

He knew his brother is ruthless when he is angry..

"I- I didn't-" Geraldine was stuttering as he took a step back..

"Didn't what?" Charles face doesn't look nice with his expression..

His face is covered with his cold expression as his eyes gives of that deathly stare..

Everyone couldn't speak in his presence...

"My young brother must have forgotten the meaning of manners"
Charles then looked at him with his blank expression as he then followed with the question
"Why is that?"

"B-brother.. I- I didn't know" he answered nervously as he step back..

"Didn't know what" Charles smiled but his eyes didn't meet his smile..

His eyes is dead as his mouth is smiling sweetly.. Charles brows is knotted as he also step forward towards his brorher and his brother's companion.. his expression makes everyone afraid..

"I should teach you what the meaning of manners and glory for a noble pride" Charles voice deepen by every word he spoke..

Everyone is terrified as the temperature around the area seems to drop.. the sun light going inside the room by the window seems to also be afraid by the scene.. the birds flying stopped to chirp happily as the peaceful wind stopped dancing..

"I don't think you remember every lesson that I drilled inside that HARD HEAD OF YOURS. BECAUSE YOU SEEM TO FORGOT WHO TO RESPECT AND WHO'S TO DISRESPECT" Charles voice sounded chilly and hard, deep and terrifying as his expression drop by every second pass by them..

Every step he takes makes Geraldine to step backwards.. his companion is also terrified by the scene as all of them shiver from fear and while this is happening Raven just stood there without moving.. like a statue that didn't care what is happening infront of her..

She then took a step forward going towards Charles direction..

Charles will actually try to pull his sword that is just hanging from his sword belt as he glared at his little brother..

All of them is terrified that they can't even move or say anything in complain..

But before that

"Charles, that is enough. Lets go" Raven suddenly patted Charles shoulder, making the young man to look behind him as he saw Raven's dead expression.. it is the same expression she showed hin when they first met..

Charles calmed down as he put his sword back in place as he then turned around facing Raven..

"We are wasting time, I don't like to waste time Charles" Raven said in a warning tone

"Ah, Yes. Yes" Charles expression changed in a 180 degree as he then smiled at her sweetly..

"I am sorry" He then apologised as he grabbed her shoulder to face the door.. he then turned his head one more time to give them a glare..

He then said in a warning tone..

"If this happens again, I'm afraid I won't hold back" then he started walking synchronising with Raven's foot steps..

Everyone is in utter shock after they left.. everyone finally took a deep breathe then breathe out as if they just escaped hell

"Y-your highness.." Sherrie said in stutter as her lovely crescent eyes started to form tears..

Shs then walked towards Geraldine but suprised with the young man's action..

"Sherrie.. not now" Geraldine's face doesn't look great as he pushed her away.. his expression looked hurt as he pushed her embrace... actually he doesn't want to do this.. but..

Making his brother angry will make his life a living hell.. again

Geraldine then started to walk toward the door then left without a word..

Sherrie felt frustrated but kept her facade going.. she was suprised by the action of prince Charles making her want to have him..

She then looked at the other noble boys,her friends. .

"D-does *hic h-his highness hate me? *hic* " her act is perfect as she cried beautiful crocodile tears.. all of them looked a bit hurt as the comforted her and as they cursed Geraldine in their head for making her upset...

"He doesn't... maybe he was just tired" Christian said in a distressed tone..

"R-really?" She then looked at them with hopeful eyes.. her eyes looked like precious jewels with a few little beautiful diamonds as her tear kept on going..

"Y-yes" they all answered her with a very synchronised voice

"Then.. I am happy" she smiled at them making them felt relieved and happy.. but this also made them a bit more angry because on what the prince Geraldine did to her..

Meanwhile..

As the beautiful carriage is rolling down the path of the forest.. you will hear the silence but also the foot steps of the horse as the run in full speed..

Inside the carriage is two silhouette... one man and one woman.. both of them looked young but their expression doesn't match their age.. their expression is dead cold making the carriage be locked in silence... the boy infront of her looked uncomfortable but the young womam just ignored him by closing her eyes..

"Zerah. Fine. I shouldn't have done that... now can you please stop being angry" the man suddenly spoke that broke the silence between them..

'And if you don't forgive me the how am I suplose to use you?' The young man thought as he looked at her directly..

The young woman then started to open her eyes slowly..

"*sigh* It was okay.. but why a sword?" She looked him directly in the eyes as if she could completely see through his soul.. her words are stone cold as her figure looked calm but strong..

'How am I suppose to use you when your not obedient?' She thought to herself as she loomed at him, still starring

"Yes yes I am wrong" he looked at her in defeat as he put his hand up in defeat...

"Good" She finally gave him a pleasing little smile as she closed her eyes.. she felt a little tired but she doesn't know why.. so she just rested for a bit..

Charles then felt a little happy inside but doesn't admit it..

He then showed a rare smile as he then changed seat.. he sat next to her but to only see her going to a small slumber..

He observed her for a minute.. he also felt a little tired because recently he is pulling off a whole nighters just to catch up in studies..

He then closed the gap between them as he felt comfortable beside her.. he felt her soft and warm body as he closed in next to her.. Raven also felt someone coming closing in but she figure it was just Charles and she just want to have a little sleep..

Charles then lay his head to her shoulders.. he felt the touch of her hand.. he then felt a very comforting and warm position as he also drifted towards dream land..
