Chapter 17:

"I know what were are going to play" She whispered but its loud enough for Charles to hear her words..

"What do you mean?" He asked curiously as he also starred at the young lady..

"Faded"

"What do you mean by that, Zerah?" He has no idea what Raven was thinking..

'I forgot.. The song faded doesn't exist in this world' she thought to herself...

She just thought of faded the moment she saw the crystal piano..

The room is quite dark with the curtains not fully open.. the only open window is by the piano..

Like broken shards the lights reflection spreaded every where as it glowed inside the room making it look really magical..

"Like every blinding light, it will also fade as the sun go to its deep slumber and will be swallowed whole by the deep dark darkness of the night " she whispered beneath her breath..

"Faded is a song.." she replied to Charles earlier question..

"Faded? How come I never heard of such song?" He then mumbled quietly as he touch his chin.. he was curious about this. ..

As she saw how deep he is thinking.. She chuckled lightly without her even knowing...

She was stunned and Charles eyes was wide open from shock..

'She.. she laughed? ' he was really pleased to see her like that but he too doesn't know why he felt a little warm inside right now..

"It is a song.. I made *cough* " she then tried changing the subject.. trying to avoid the scene she made..

"Oh.." he was still kinda shock from Raven's sudden light laugh..

As Raven walked elegantly towards the crystal piano she then tap it a little..

She then blow some of the dust away..

She sit down elegantly as she took a deep breath then said.

"Yes, I made the song.. I composted it not to long ago" Her eyes then drop down looking empty as some kind of bitter thought is flying over her head..

"Oh?.. I would like to hear it, Zerah" as he walked over towards her.. he touched her shoulder lightly..

But Raven shrugged it off then said..

"Very well.."

Charles then took a step back as he wants to watch this with a perfect view...

He saw a stool then took a seat..

As Raven finally started playing the piano, her movement is as smooth as water but steadily as a rock..

her beauty is very enchanting as the sun light reflect some of the light towards the crystal piano..
Her face holds a very peaceful expression... Her empty Blood red eyes looked like rubies for the first time..

enchanting Ruby eyes with emotion..

The melody of her music is really pleasing to the ears.. Her notes is very peaceful but if you study it closer you will hear the sadness in the song.. the sense of longing and the craving for someone..

'this is..' the Prince whispered in awe as he can't look away from the stunning picture infront of him...

* thumb * thumb * * thumb * he felt the emotion again.. that feeling... he felt it..

'what is this?'

As Raven finally finished playing she then quikly stand up..

As she walks towards Charles she then ask..

"What do you think..?"
She asks as he just starred at her still unable to speak after her stuuning performance...

"It was.. It was.." He kept on replaying his words..

He was just lost for words. But.. when he finally found it.. he then took a deep breath

"You were stunning" he then release the butterflies in his stomach as he starred at her..

Instead of 'it's stunning' he can't help but say 'You were stunning'

He was starring at her with warmth. . He was smiling at her unconsciously..

He just can't suppress his emotion right now..

He adored that face of hers.. but still doesn't know what it was that cause him to feel really confused...

'What is this?' He ask himself as the beating of his heart fasten it's pace

As Raven was shocked at his very sweet and warm expression that is the complete opposite on how he usually looked like..

Her face felt a little warm as she starred at his grey eyes...

"Well.." as she felt a little embarrassed she then fasten her steps reaching for the door..

"Well lets go" She said as she then walked out without thinking for a second time..

She was embarrassed as she kept on walking forward.. she really is flushed red right now..

* thumb * thumb * * thumb *

Her heart then started jumping up and down for some unknown reasons..

"Zerah, wait for me" As she heard this she then turned around and saw Charles quick steps going towards her..

Her face turned even redder.. her face is really flushed red from some unknown reasons..

As Charles saw her expression.. it was then his turn to be flush red.. he stopped from his tracks..

"What?" Raven aswered coldly then turned around walking even faster..

His face is very warm for some very weird and unknown reasons..

But when he touched his face his hands was cold..

He then pulled his hair back and took a deeb breath then chases after Raven..

After some time both of them finally calmed down it is was when they reached the classroom...

As both of them continued their school routine after some time it is finally time to go home..

"Would you like to go practice for the performance, Charles?" She asked as she was packing up her books and stuff.

"Where would we practice,Zerah?" He then answered as he was finishing packing up.

"My house should be fine. We also have a piano. And it is perfect to practise because tommorow will be weekend" as she said that she is done packing and is now walking.

As Charles followed her..

as Charles bump into someone he stopped from his tracks.. Raven notices and turned around..

As she was turning around.. she knew trouble is coming as she saw it..

"Ouch.." a very cute voice said as she was rubbing her knees..

'Oh god, no'
Raven thought as she was just their standing and shaking her head in her mind as she starred at.....
