klance part 7

(this part is actually based off of a conversation i had with my crush at one point, but it didn't end so well)

Lances POV

"Ok so do i know the person" i asked the most obvious question

"Yes, you know them"

"Alright, have i known them for a long time"

"Yes" Keith looks down at the floor probably a bit mad i've already gotten 2 right

"Have you known him for a few years?" i ask the question that would cut out a bunch of people if its a yes.

"Well how long is a few years?" keith askes

"Um let's say 5 years" if it's a yes it would have to be me, Shiro or someone from another planet but that was unlikely or Hunk but i kinda doubt it's Hunk

(no offence to Hunk he's a cut little bean and i love him)

"You've known him longer" Keith said by this point he was blushing like crazy and it was kinda cute.

Who do i know that keith has known for over 5 years? I thought

"Is he handsome" i ask a silly question so i would have a bit of time to think.

"Well ya i think he's very handsome, and cute, not to mention hilarious" he started to blush even harder when he realised all of the complements he was giving to his crush. "that was more than i meant to say" he mumbled, and i couldnt help but smile.

"And your sure i know him?" i asked. I couldn't think of anyone i knew that keith also knew for over 5 years.

"Ya i'm sure" he didn't seem very happy that i was getting close to the answer, but he wasn't mad either, he seemed nervus.

And then i clicked. I couldn't believe that it took so long for me to notice it.

"Is it..." i started to ask

Keith's his face turned redder and he tensed up. A few tears rolled down his face.

"Is it me keith" keith didn't say anything, all he did was pull his knees up into is chest, covered his face with his hands and nodded his head

I didn't know what to say. My heart was pounding and my brain going 100 miles a second. Then it hit me. "You-you heard the conversation i had with Hunk and Pidge. Didn't you?"

He nodded his head again as he started to cry a bit harder. Keith lifted his head. his eyes were puffy and his face was covered in tears again. "Please don't hate me" he said weakly.

I pulled his head closer so that he was leaning on my shoulder. As soon as i did this his sniffling slowed "i could never hate you Keith"

he sniffled a bit more then looked up at me "how could you... not hate me, I'm a complete mess." he said in between sniffles.

"Like this" i leaned down and kissed him on the lips. He was shocked but he soon sunk into it.

Keith pulled away with a questioning look on his face.

"But i thought you..." i cut him off by planting another quick kiss on his lips

"I didn't want to be out to the team yet, and I had no clue you were listening if i knew i would not have reacted that way, i'm sorry" i looked down at the small space between us.

"I may be able to forgive you but on 2 conditions." Keith said sitting so that his hole body was facing me. He had stopped crying completely and there was no sniffles, but his face was a bit red and his eyes were puffy

"And what might those be?" I asked turning my body as well

"Don't scare me like that ever again, and... will you be my boyfriend?" Keith said the last part fast and closed his eyes scared of what my answer would be.
