Pucca stared up at the ceiling of her room from her spot on the bed, lost in thought.
She tried to think of Garu, tried to imagine a life with him, but for some reason, her mind kept drifting to her date with Tobe.
He had been so kind, so unlike himself.
Was he gaslighting her? Was he grooming her? Did he... Actually like her? Was he just trying to be a better person?
Pucca groaned in frustration and shoved her face in a pillow, screaming.
There was a knock on the door and Pucca composed herself enough to open it.
Dove and Mika were there, looking worried.
"We walked by and heard screaming. Is everything alright?" Dove signed.
Without thinking, Pucca signed back, "Yeah, just thinking."
"If you need to talk we're here." Mika said.
Pucca thanked her and went back to her room to keep screaming until she came to a conclusion.
