"How could you, you clumsy fuck?" Roger yelped at his assistant who had just dropped his coffee all over Rogers white stage costume.

You were standing off in the distance waiting for your new boss, Freddie Mercury, to arrive to the studio. Today they're supposed to be trying on they're costumes for their next tour which was coming up.

You haven't met your new boss yet since your management was the one to make this dream job happen for you. You have been wanting to be a musician for awhile so your manager thought this would be the perfect opportunity.

Now as you stood there watching roger basically scream at his assistant you were not too sure if this was your "dream" job any more. You were a very sensitive person where it didn't take much to make you cry. If Freddie was how roger was, you weren't to sure if you could do this.

"I-I'm so sorry M-Mr. Taylor. I'll fix it." The assistant stuttered with shaky hands.

"What are you going to do to fix it? Its fucking coffee smart arse. This shit doesn't come out of white clothing."

You decided that by listening in on that conversation started to become to much to handle. It started to make you become worried since the first time you would officially be meeting Freddie is now.

You looked up at the clock noticing that he was already twenty minutes late. You noted that in your head that he was a person to probably never be punctual.

You looked down at your boyfriend jeans and loose red tee shirt hoping that it was okay to be wearing. You were worried that it would be too casual even though your manager told you that Freddie doesn't care what his assistants wear.

You couldn't help but poke at your fingernails since the stress was growing by the minute. What if freddie thinks your unprofessional or to slow? What if he just doesn't like you in general? What if you just don't got the chops?

Your thoughts are interrupted by the squeaks of the door opening and quickly closing behind you. You quickly turn around slightly startled by the noise.

Your surprised to see Freddie standing there talking to Brian who came in with him. You were only a few feet away from where he was currently standing. You start to glance around his body, basically checking him out.

He was much more beautiful in person even though you thought he was already handsome in his photos. You went from his lips to teeth to nose landing on his gorgeous brown eyes. You were surprised though to see his eyes already set on yours.

You quickly looked down while your cheeks heated up from embarrassment. You decided that it was time to meet your new boss hoping that he would be as nice as his interviews were.

You looked back up and took a step or two now directly in front Mr. Mercury. You put on your best smile and tried to shove the nervous down your throat hoping it would stay there.

"Hello Mr. Mercury, I'm (y/n), your new assistant. Pleased to meet you sir." You said proudly without not even one stutter while shaking his hand.

"Oh please just call me Freddie. I don't look that old do I?" He smiles but with his mouth closed due to him being insecure about his teeth.

"No of course not sir. I mean Freddie." You chuckled at your slip.

"Well it's very nice to meet a pretty girl like you. I can already tell you'll do well during this job love."

"I sure hope so. I absolutely love the musical Industry so I think this will definitely give me an eye into the looking glass." You both chuckled still not realizing your hands were still attached from the hand shake seconds earlier.

"I couldn't agree more (y/n). Now as your first job as my assistant can you please go grab me a cup of tea and some b-biscuits from the b-break room?" He stuttered just now realizing your hands were still attached as he carefully pulled his away.

"Of course. Be right back."

As your walked thought the door into the hallway you cringed deeply. You were more embarrassed than anything else but there was still a tiny part of you that had tiny little butterflies in your stomach.

You started to replay the conversation in your head again and again as your poured the tea into the cup and put the biscuits onto a napkin. He even called you pretty. Coming from just anyone, you wouldn't really care but it came from him so you did care.

You walked back into the studio seeing all four band members doing all different things. Roger was in the corner where the telephone was, Brian was talking to his manager, John was getting fitted for an outfit while Freddie was simply shifting through a couple pieces of papers.

You walked over to Freddie but without your prior knowledge your shoelace had become untied. You fell flat on your face with hot tea spilling all over you and Freddie. When you fell you slightly slammed your head into the floor causing a lot of pain but it was easily over masked by pure mortification.

"Oh my god" Roger spluttered into the phone.

You were terrified, embarrassed and injured at the same time. You didn't know what to expect for Freddie's reaction and you surely didn't know if you should get up or keep lying there like a dead fish.

You decided it was best if you tried to pick up at least some of your dignity lying on the ground you were on so you slowly got up. You were scared to see Freddie's face, especially since you haven't heard him say one word this whole time. God, you were scared to see anyone's reaction since no one except roger has said a word this whole time.

You looked up to see freddie with a look you couldn't read. It was unrecognizable is probably the best way to put it.

"I'm s-so sorry. I'll c-clean all this up-" Roger then rudely interrupted your sincere apology by coming over to you.

"Wow I guess both of our assistants are totally useless, right freddie? Your such a dumbass, like honestly. It was hot tea, you could have hurt him dipshit." Roger spit in your face words which felt like venom.

You felt a lump in your throat forming becoming slightly bigger by the second.

"I know. Again I'm s-so sorry Freddie and Mr. Taylor-" You were once again interrupted but this time by Freddie.

"Roger shut the fuck up really. Accidents happen." You could now see the irritation dripping from Freddie's mouth.

"Fred dude come on."

"Roger I'm only going to tell you this once. You can yell at your assistant as much as you like but never, and I mean never yell at (y/n) like that again or you will regret it."

You could feel yourself becoming less embarrassed by Freddie's sincere words, making a small timid smile appear on your face. You didn't let anyone realize that though.

Freddie then stared right back at you making Roger realize freddie wanted nothing to do with him at the moment.

"Are you alright? You hit your head pretty hard there dear." He gently traced his finger against your forehead seeing if there was any bump.

"I'm alright. Thank you though. I'm honestly more worried about your clothes."

"Oh don't worry. It's just clothes, nothing to cry about unlike the fucking baby over there." You chuckled at Freddie's joke grateful for his forgiveness.

"Thank you for forgiving me. If I'm being completely honest I thought you would yell at me to get out and never come back."

"I could never do that to you dear. Plus your way to beautiful."

The blush crept back onto your face.

"I'm usually not this straight foreword (y/n) especially when I've just met the person but would you like to go out on a date with me?" Freddie grabbed on one of your hands gently.

"Sure. I'd like that very much."

Freddie's face lit up with excitement as he gave you a kiss on your cheek.

"Now if you wouldn't mind could you go grab me another cup of tea and make sure not to spill it darling."

You laughed at his lighthearted joke as you gave him a nod and continued on with your job.
