"How're you doing, Ben?"
"I am trying to calm down, slowly, but surely. My stress has lowered a little, I'll be fine".
"Hmm...Sit tight for a second. Be right back".
"Yes, Rey".
(In Ben's head) *I hope I haven't scared Rey. She seems so sincere in her belief of me...but now I don't know if I can even trust myself. Would it be best for me to leave?*
Ben was about to stand up, until a blanket came over his head.
"Huh?"
"Now, before you give me your whole, 'I don't feel cold' bullshit. Whenever I had nightmares on Jakku...the only thing that would calm me down...was wrapping myself up in a blanket. Made me feel safe. I figured I might as well give it a shot for you".
*After all of that...Rey still trusts me? She still...cares?*
A tear came down Ben's face.
"Shit, Ben! I didn't want to make you cry again! I-I'm sorry, I-"
"Sorry, Rey, I'm just...happy. So happy, I feel emotional overloaded. I feel so much better. Thank you, Rey."
"No problem, Ben. I'll always be here for you"
