Date In Story: February 3rd

Your relationship with Daniel is really great at the moment. You've been visiting him a lot. Things are really progressing in your relationship. You're getting to know him a lot better and he's getting to know more about you.

The only thing that has been off at the moment is Jack. Almost every time you go to the guys house, Jack is gone. Daniel always says that he's out shopping or with a friend. It didn't seem like Jack though. He always likes to hangout with you, Daniel, and the others. You couldn't help but think he was avoiding you.

You decide to go for a run before you go to Daniel's.

As you're on your run, you see Jack eating brunch outside the café. He looks over at you and you wave. He doesn't wave back, instead he gathers his things and heads to his car. You run over to him.

"Jack.. where are you going? Wait up."

You approach him and he looks at the ground.

"Jack where have you been? I haven't seen you in a while." You smile.

"I've been busy." He says, still looking at the ground.

"Are you going back to the house? Mind giving me a lift?"

"I'm not going there, sorry."

He opens the car door.

"Jack i'm still talking to you. What's the rush?"

You become a little angry. Why was he acting like this.

"I gotta go."

He gets in his car and drives off. You stand in the parking lot, confusion building up inside of you.

You arrive at Daniel's and Jonah answers the door.

"Hey y/n. Come on in." He says.

"Do you know where Jack's going today?"

"What are you talking about? He was supposed to come back here after he went out to eat."

"Well I just ran into him and he's not coming. He seemed kinda pissed."

"That's weird, i'll text him."

Jonah gets out his phone and heads to the kitchen. You go upstairs to find Daniel.

Daniel's door is open and you walk in. He is at his desk with his headphones working on some music with his keyboard.

You wait until he finishes the part he's at.

You walk up behind him and give him a hug. He turns his chair around and smiles. He slides the headphones to his neck.

"When did you get here?" He asks.

"Like 4 minutes ago." You giggle.

"Can I hear what you were working on?" You ask.

"Of course."

He gestures for you to sit on his knee. You sit down and put his headphones on. He starts playing the keyboard and you listen to the song.

"This is really good. You're so talented Dani."

You kiss his forehead.

"Thank you, and I just came up with it this morning."

"It would take me like 3 months to make something like this, and that's if I could even play an instrument."

"I'll show you how to play any instrument you wanna learn." He smiles.
