Free x Reader (Always Protect You)

3rd PERSON POV
   Free was always there, to comfort you, keep you away from danger, and to just flat out be your friend. You and Free we're friends back in Spain, but then you moved. Free and yourself still stayed the best of friends, just in different countries. That was until your older sister Christina became the owner of BC Sol back in Spain.
   Chris recruited Free (she knew you had a crush on him) due to how good he was as a blader. Since you came back Free has never let you out of his sights, that is usually why both of you are late for practices.

Present
   You were in the forest hanging out with Free trying to look for his deer friend. "Little deer! Where are you!?" (y/n) yelled. "Actually, now that I think about this, what is that here's name?" Free just shrugged and kept walking still trying to find that deer. "Free, can you at least try to answer me?" Free ignored you. Suddenly a second later you heard something crack.
   You looked up only to find a branch beginning to fall almost hitting you till you feel something sharp hit your body and pin you to the ground. Opening back up your (color) eyes. You saw a golden haired boy with midnight black eyes staring down at you. "You okay?" Free asked emotionlessly as always.
   "Y-ya." The young girl replied still winded about what just happened. You looked up again and Free was exasted. Apparently so wasted he collapsed right on top of you. A blush as red as an apple appeared on (y/n)'s face. "F-free! G-get off me! We need to get to practice or Chris is going to yell at us again." No response. You tried rolling him off of your body but... he was like a statue. 'He looks so cute when he's asleep you thought. 'W-wait what!?' Kept trying to roll Free off of you, still nothing. After a good twenty minutes you had to give up. (y/n) just played with Free' s golden hair and later there.

Night
FREE'S POV
   I woke back up on something soft. I didn't know what it was, I mean all I remember was looking into (y/n)'s beautiful (color) eyes them I saw all black. Maybe I shouldn't have skipped breakfast this morning. Oh well. Lifting my head up my face instantly turned red seeing I was on (y/n). Did I really fall asleep on her.
   I got up and quietly was going to wake    (y/n) until I heard foot steps, then a growl. I could barely see due to the darkness. Suddenly a wolf jumped out of the trees into the opening.
   All I thought about was keeping (y/n) safe, I'd die for her if needed. But right now I picked her up and held her bridal style running back to BC Sol. The wolf followed right on my tail. (y/n)'s eyes started to flutter  open ever so slowly. "Huh, Free! W-what' s going on?" Her face looked so radiant in the moonlight. "Free! Are you going to answer me this time?" She then realized that a wolf was chasing us. Her face turned pale.
   "(y/n), just... just relax, you'll be fine." I had a hint of nervousness in my voice. "We're almost back at BC Sol." Then, I did the unthinkable... and dropped her. Dang it.
   (y/n) was on the floor with the wolf closing in getting ready to attack her. I couldn't watch this, I couldn't lose her, I couldn't let her get hurt. Without thinking (again) I jumped in front of her body and got a huge scratch right on the chest. The gouge was terrible. It hurt, I couldn't get up, I didn't know what was going to happen and where (y/n) was.
   "Ahh!!!" I heard (y/n) yelling and saw her with a stick waving it around and it scared the wolf away. "Oh my gosh! Free are you okay!"
   "Ya (y/n), it just, hurts."
   "Okay, let's get you back to the campus." She picked me up and put one of my arms around her neck and we walked back to BC Sol.
   She grabbed the medical box and was getting ready to bandage up the wound when. "Umm, Free, for me to be able to clearly clean up the wound, you, umm, need to take off your shirt." (y/n)'s face was fully red. I think mine was to but, I just took off my shirt so she could fully see and tend to my scratch.
   "O-okay, let me put on some of the ointment." When she did a rush of pain spread through my whole body and it showed. "Free! I'm so sorry are you okay?!"
   "Ya ya, I'm fine (y/n), just bandage it up."
   "Hey Free I wanted to ask you something." She started to bandage up the huge scratch on my chest. I nodded my head to signal her to keep on going. "I wanted to ask, why are you always protecting me? You just seem to know, like always when something was going to happen. And then we have what happened in the forest earlier. Why do you protect somebody like me? Why would you?"
   I was surprised. Did she not want me to protect her? "Why do you think I wouldn't protect you? Do you not want to be friends?"
   "No, no, no, don't take it that way, I didn't mean i- oh, never mind. You wouldn't even care about why anyways..." She trailed off. That's it, I can't do it. I have to tell her how I feel.
   She finished bandaging my wound and I pulled her into a hug, my head in her (h/l) (h/c) hair. She squeaked as I began to per her head slightly. "You know why I protect you? I don't want to loose you again. When you left Spain it was the worst years of my life. When you finally came back I didn't want anything happening to you ever again. I do this because... I love you." With that I kissed her, on the lips. She kissed back a second later.
   When we released she said "Free, I love your too." With that I took her back to the room we shared I put her down on the bed and she fell asleep in my arms.

BONUS TIME
The Next Day
   "Where were you guys yesterday?!" Chris frantically said.
   "We're fine, relax." Free said. "(y/n) almost got hit in the head with a branch, we both almost got attacked by a wolf, granted I got a huge scratch on my chest, finally we both confessed to each other about our love and feel asleep in each other's arms. Nothing much really." With that Free walked out leaving Chris wide eyed and mouth agape.
