UKYO'S POV
I know I'm not the one someone would expect to fall in love. But it happened. This girl, she has beautiful (h/l) (h/c) hair and the best personality one could ask for. The only thing is, I could never really talk to her.
When I talked to Yugo about this. Yet that still didn't help. In the end he some how talked me into telling her by the end of the school year.
He knew I could do this because (y/n) would always come to the Sword Flames Dojo after school. Walking to Yugo's direction I was trying to find a way out of confessing to (y/n). "No way on backing out now Ukyo. You've already planned this. We also got Xander involved, and you know he won't let these kind of things go." Yugo explained.
"I know, I'm just... nervous I guess." Wow. Me being nervous, and maybe even scared. That's the first, usually I'm the one scaring people. "How am I even supposed to do this? I mean, I can do it during the summer right?" I was trying to weasel my way out of this.
"Oh, you didn't hear did you." Yugo stopped and sighed. "She's going to BC Sol for the summer, and she said depending on how well she did, she might stay there. Which means she might not come back to the Sword Flames Dojo for a long time to forever."
This struck me right in the heart. I might not see her again, but why didn't she tell me about this! We're best friends, why wouldn't she tell me. "How come I didn't know about this. (y/n)'s my best friend, if she was going to possibly not come back she would've told me." I don't believe this information Yugo just said.
"Look, Ukyo this might be very hard for you to believe, but this is (y/n)'s big brake. Maybe she didn't want to tell anyone in fear of changing her mind and losing out on this opportunity." Yugo seemed a little uneasy.
"If she didn't want people to know then how do you know all about this?" I inentensionally yelled.
"Xander told me okay? Some how he found out about this." Yugo put his hands over his ears expecting me to yell again.
I rubbed my temple with my pointer finger and thumb. "Nevermind, I'll figure this out by myself." And with that I ran out of the dojo and into the woods, off to find (y/n).YOUR POV
I was walking back from school. I didn't want to go to the Sword Flames Dojo. Mostly because I wanted to avoid someone.
Trust me when I say I love it there. The atmosphere, training experience, and the people, but it's just to hard to say goodbye to that place. Yet I've told myself again and again this is what I have to do to make my dream come true.
Even if I have to leave someone I love. Anyways, I hoped to confess to him through letter, you know. When I'm in a plane heading to Spain and that if I get rejected, I wouldn't know until I had my feelings in check.
Not my best idea, but it was better than just telling him out front. Also if you haven't figured out who that him was. That him was Ukyo. I just love his funny personality, especially when he scares people. I didn't want to tell him I was leaving because of being afraid that he might do something stupid.
"Hey (y/n)."
"Gahh!" I turned around and with my (color) backpack on I swung it and hit whoever the heck just spoke in the face.
"Oww! What the heck (y/n)! All I wanted to do is just say hi and ask a question." When I realized who I hit in the head, a crimson red blush was plastered on my face.
I hit Ukyo, the guy I like, straight in the face. "I'm so so so sorry Ukyo! I wasn't expecting you."
I was completely flustered as I tried to help him up. "Its okay (y/n). It's not like I haven't been hit in the face before because I scared someone half to death." Ukyo explained half heartedly.
"So you said you wanted to ask something." I said, a little nervous, don't tell me he found out. I mean how could he? I only told Xan- nevermind I regret telling that big-mouthed redhead.
"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving at the end of summer?" I froze. My whole mind went blank.
Should I tell him the truth, or should I try to lie my way out of it and deal with it in the late future. Come on, I've got to get this off of my chest. "Look, if I did tell you, I feel like my feelings for you would hold me back from going abroad and achieving my dreams."
Wait! Did I just say that?! Oh no, I just confessed feelings to Ukyo. "Wait, what do you mean by feelings (y/n)?"
Crap, crap, crap, crap! What do I do. I can't lie my way out of this, those words already came out of my mouth. I reached into my pocket and realized the letter I had written to Ukyo was in my pocket.
Taking it out I put it in the hand of Ukyo. "Read this, and it'll explain everything." I looked away as Ukyo was reading the letter I wrote to him. I couldn't stand to see how his reaction was.
"(y/n), can you please look at me?" I was hesitant to look at him. Yet finally after a lot of time I looked right into his beautiful eyes.
"Is what you wrote in this letter really true?" I gave shy and slow nod. With that his hand lifted my chin up so I was staring directly into his eyes.
Ukyo slowly leaned in and engulfed me into a passionate kiss. It was like the whole world stopped right in place while this whole scene was taking place. When we both pulled away I could tell that both of us had a giant red blush right on our faces for everyone to see.
"When you come back, promise me that you will immediately come and see me." Ukyo said.
"I promise Ukyo. When I come back I will run straight to the Sword Flames Dojo from the airport." Ukyo smiled when I said that.
"Great. Now let's just spend the rest of the time we have together until summer ends..."_____________________________________________
