I've got a new character!

HERE COMES THE BOY

Uh, it's hard to see, but that pink thing is his hair (someone in my class colored it in). It's a sort of faux-hawk, buzzed on both sides and fluffy and pink down the middle. Like this:

Something special about the boy;
He has strips of leather all over his body that are permanently connected to him, from birth. They are all connected at his chest. They end at his hands, feet, and his cheeks. (In the first picture, he was still developing, so I didn't draw the cheek strips.) Here's a guide on where they're placed:

There are also little spikes all along the stripes, as you can see above, but they're not sharp. They're like the spikes you'd find on biker boots.

The strips of leather can detach from his body everywhere except his chest, where they're bound to him, and he can control them with his mind. When they come off, you can see "inside" of him. The one thing is that he looks hollow, you can see right through him to the other side of his skin. There's nothing.
However, if he were to be stabbed or something, there'd be blood and he DOES have internal organs.

I tried to make it look like his leg was rested in front of him. Oh well.
Also! I don't have a name for this soft boy. Any ideas?
