I sigh softly as Quinn and Santana get into place and feel Kurt's hand land on my shoulder. I turn my head softly to look at him, smiling softly and he nods his head softly.

"girl, you've got this. I swear. go get your man back" hearing Kurt say this made me giggle. Kurt wasn't really the one to help people get into relationships but he knew how much I liked Milo and he knew deep down Milo felt the same way. he just didn't want to admit it. and as much as he hated Quinn, Brittany and Santana, he was helping me out because I happened to be one of his best friends, besides Mercedes. he loved both of us equally but Mercedes really wanted Milo and I to have the lead parts for some reason which made no sense to me because Gabriella isn't blonde and I wasn't about to change that.

"I know" I reply, nodding softly. "it's just.. Milo can be stubborn. like super stubborn. I don't know if this will work."

"well, you did say you watched the high school musical movies together right?" Kurt asks and I nod my head softly.

"yeah" I reply, smiling softly. "but that was when we were like ten. we're eighteen and about to graduate high school."

"just trust us, okay. if this doesn't work, I may have another idea"

"Okay, I trust you." I reply then turn my attention back to Mercedes, who's looking at me. I nod my head lightly and she looks over to Brittany, who presses Play on the CD player and Everyday from high school musical two starts playing. Kurt glances over to Milo, to try and read his face but of course Rachel has his full attention. I shake my head softly at Mercedes and she nods her head.

"you have to do this" she mouths. "you deserve Milo. and he deserves you. you have history together and I don't mean the class"

"I can't" I mouth. "he's not even paying attention."

"start singing and he will" she mouths back. "give this plan a try. please?"

I sigh softly and look at Kurt, who thinks for a second then looks at me.

"we'll sing Troy's part together, even though you're supposed to really sing Gabriella's but that's not the point here"

"are you sure?" I ask. "I can do it myself.. I'm just nervous."

"I'm sure." he replies and turns to grab two microphones and hands one to me then nods to Brittany, mouthing a quick "restart the song" to her and Brittany rolls her eyes but replays the song from the beginning. Kurt walks out on stage and I stay in my spot, not moving a muscle. he rolls his eyes and drags me onto the stage and smiles softly at the audience.

"excuse my friend here. she's a tad bit nervous." Kurt replies, causing a couple people in the audience to chuckle and laugh softly. Kurt giggles and looks at me then looks over at Rachel and Milo as he sings the first couple of lines.
