Surprise ? ~ Cole

You gasped for air as an arm was wrapped around your neck. A gun was placed against the side of your head, the person chuckling. "Your boyfriend isn't going to save you now."

"L-Let go!" You tried breathing.

He brought you out of an alley and into a crowd of people, who began to panic and run away.

"This is what happens when someone I hate destroys my life! Now I'm going to destroy his!"

If only you listened to Sensei and learned how to use your powers.

His hold around your neck tightened, you suddenly seeing spots. You squirmed and squirmed, but it was no use.

Tears began to fall from your eyes. "Please-"

"Shut it!" He shoved the front of the pistol in your mouth.

Your eyes squeezed shut. All you could do was wait for the impact.

Goodbye Leaf, Goodbye ninja, goodbye Nya and Kai, Goodbye Cole.

You flinched as the gun was yanked away from you and a shot was fired. You fell to the ground and cried, looking up as you saw your boyfriend fighting the man. You felt a sharp pain in your arm. You quickly placed your hand on your shoulder, feeling the cloth of your shirt growing wet. You had been shot.

Cole threw the gun away from the guy and grabbed him by the head. "You aren't getting away with pulling a stunt like this!"

"Don't worry, I'll be back from prison." He chuckled.

"No, you'll never see day light again." Cole grabbed him by the head and snapped his neck.

The man's body went limp before Cole dropped it to the ground. You hugged your knees and looked up at Cole, he knelt down by you.

"Hey, Hey... I'm here now." He whispered. "Did He Do anything else- oh my gosh, it shot you-"

"N-No, I'm fine." You whispered, trying to ignore the pain. "I'm fine."

~ A few days later

You sat in your desk chair, spinning around in the chair while watching tv. You were bored out of your mind, and you would've been training, but your element hadn't been working for some stupid reason.

Suddenly, when the show was about to reveal something you'd been waiting for, it was interrupted by the news.

"What the shit?!" You yelled at the tv.

Suddenly, a live video of your boyfriend in the background came on.

Your puppy, Leaf jumped into your laps and curled up.

"We interrupt your program with breaking news. It looks like earth Ninja, Cole Brookestone, has an announcement to make to Ninjago."

The camera then focused on Cole, who had a frown on his face. "Citizens Of Ninjago... I've had it up to here with your harassments... however, I could handle them! But when you start harassing my friends, my family, and my girlfriend, that's a different story! Look, I know that your upset that I've killed this man, but it was out of selfdefense! He held someone I loved at gun point! Now.... I wish I didn't kill him, I really do... I wish I kept him alive so that he could suffer in prison for thinking about hurting anyone I love.... nevertheless... it's time for me to go off of the grid for a while. I don't know when I'll return, or if I will... but if it means keeping them safe... then so be it.... Y/N... if your watching this... I'm sorry Y/N..." soon, Cole turned away and ran off, pulling his hood on.

The lady with the microphone went back to talking, leaving you with watery eyes. How could he do that? How could he embarrass you on live tv like that? How could he do this to you?
