“Hey Cam,” he said with his  asshole smirk getting up from against my car and walking towards me. Do I have a total psycho bitch girlfriend moment or do I act like I don’t give a shit? I seriously don’t know what to do right now.

I crossed my arms, “Calum, I thought you were on tour.” Not total bitch, but it was kinda rough and you could definitely see it in Calum’s face and I immediately regretted it after I said it. Honestly seeing Calum leaning there in that nirvana tee shirt made me want to kiss him so bad considering I haven’t seen him in forever. Behind me the crowd ended up leaving once they realized there wasn’t going to be any drama.

As Calum walked closer I didn’t move. He put one arm around me, resting his hand on the small of my back right before my pant line, and the other went to my arms as he untangled them. “We have a break and I saw your tweet this morning. Summer’s starting for you today, right love?”

“Yes,” I smiled as I saw him starting to lean in closer after starring at my lips, “Summer officially starts now.” God did I miss Calum. “Fuck it” was the first thing I thought and closed the distance between us, making our lips have contact. Feeling Calum this close for the first time in so long made my stomach tighten in such a good way. Kissing Calum was just like riding a bike, even if you don’t do it often you still know how. And you enjoy it every time.

He was the first to pull away, “Just like I remember babe.” He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a hug. I noticed something different this time; his muscles. His back, his biceps, even his shoulders were so much better. I made a mental note to get a better look later in time. I unlocked my car as we parted and we both got in.

My Bluetooth connected playing Pumped Up Kicks, Calum singing along as soon as it started. I pulled out of the parking lot and started to head home, listening to Calum’s voice match perfectly with the studio version that was coming out of my speakers. His voice really was wonderful, “So now what?” I asked him once the song ended as I didn’t want to interrupt him halfway through.

“Well its summer! You’re free!” He acted like I cared. I could only stand a single person at my school and she always spent half her summer on the other side of the country with family. Then my summers consisted of jumping job to job, reading, shopping online, tumblr, and Netflix. How exciting.

I didn’t reply for a while and out of the blue Calum said, “You look so good Cam.” I blushed and looked at him. Calum was admiring me with a half-smile across his face, head tilted slightly. He looked pretty damn fine himself if I do say so. He was definitely out of my league.

“So just out of curiosity,” I began, “And because you always avoid it, why’d you ask me for my number that night we met?” I tried looking at him out of the corner of my eye and thought I saw him laughing to himself.

He turned the music down before starting, “Well first off, I wanted to piss of Luke because all four of us knew he was your favorite. The moment you walked in you flocked right to him, love. Rather humorous. But then when we started talking I realized how pretty you are so, I thought ‘why not?’ and took a chance. Glad I did, aye?” As he asked the last question he nudged me with his elbow and I just laughed.

We pulled into my driveway, got out of the car and headed towards the house. I unlocked the door with my pink flower house key my mom bought me forever ago and we headed up to my room. Kinda like the old days I guess you could say.  The old days when Calum had the time for me I guess. I opened the door and walked in, letting him follow, and sat down on my bed. He walked around and observed everything. I had redone my whole room since the last time he had been in here.

“You always did have a creative side,” he said as he admired my handmade butterflies strewn about my wall next to my bed. Next he walked over to my desk in front of my window, just observing I’m guessing, before making his way back over to me and sitting on the bed next to me.

“Hi,” I said.

“Hey love,” he said back leaning against me before we both laid back onto my mattress.

We both kicked off our shoes before pulling my blanket over top of us. Being with Calum was so nice. He tangled his legs with mine underneath the duvet and moved his head closer to mine so that our noses were almost touching. He stared into my eyes and I just stared back into his. I saw everything I needed to looking into his eyes, I don’t know what it was but that’s how it was.

Calum smiled and pecked me on the lips before starting, “I have a proposition for you love. I didn’t come just to visit, I came for a reason.” As soon as he said that I felt my heart begin to race as anxiety began to fill my mind.

“What is it?” I asked without hesitation. This wasn’t like Calum.

“I came here to see if you wanted to come finish out the American tour with me and the band. It ends a week before your next school year starts.  I know it’s extremely soon to ask considering you just finished this school year today, but it’s just a proposition.”

I looked at him dumbfounded and surprised at the same time. I had not expected that what so ever, “Are you sure the other boys and everyone else is okay with that? I feel like I’d be intruding.” Do people actually bring their girlfriends/boyfriends on tour with them?

“I talked it over with the band,” he said, “And they’re totally cool with it. And the other band we’re opening for is fine with it too. Two of their bandmates bring their girls along on tour with them so why can’t I right?” He smiled again before kissing me again, “Just an idea I want you to think about.”

“When do I have to decide by?” I asked, already knowing my answer but not knowing if my mom would be as lenient.

“I’m here for two days, and after that I fly back out to the city and we start the American leg of the tour,” he said before getting up, “I’m gonna take a wee.” I nodded and he closed the door. I reached in my pocket and grabbed out my cellphone to text Violet. I needed to see what she thought before coming to a complete decision.

After I sent the message Calum came back out and laid down next to me. We cuddled up next to each other once again under the covers. It wasn’t until he was holding me in his arms that I knew I came to a final decision. “Calum,” I began.

“Yes love?” He asked kissing my forehead.

“As long as my mom’s fine with it I’ll definitely come with you.” I was completely happy with my decision and was smiling like an idiot as I said those words to Calum. I felt him hold me tighter and he put more kisses all over my forehead. I missed being with Calum so much.

“I love you so much babe, being on tour sucks being without you.” He said with a heavy sigh. I wiggled my way in closer to his chest and listened for his heart like I’d done many time in the past. “You know,” he started to say, “We’ll have our own bunk on the tour bus.” He gave me a wink and I laughed before leaning in for another kiss.

“We’ll just have to go out with my mom to dinner later tonight and convince her, you’re lucky she likes you,” I said after we laid in bed talking for a while.  It’s weird to say but Calum coming back and actually being here brought back so many feelings. Good ones of course. And now this new and great opportunity to go on tour with him. I’ve never been more happy to be in love and be with a boy in my life.
