Chapter 3
A/N: I decided to change things up and write this chapter from Justin’s perspective. Like the rest of the series it was originally written just from Dav’s perspective, but I thought it would be cool to give everyone a glimpse of how Justin feels about everything. I hope you enjoy it!

Justin’s POV
When Dav finally came down the stairs, I could not stop a smile from spreading across my face; she looked absolutely stunning in a sapphire blue cocktail dress. I grabbed her hand and said, “Wow, you are so beautiful.”
She blushed and said, “Thanks J.”
“Alright, let’s go babe. You’re gonna love what I have planned for us tonight,” I said.
Dav quickly grabbed her purse and keys and we both headed out the door.
I remembered Dav telling me that she would love to go to see a ballet one day, so tonight I would make her dream come true. I loved seeing her face light up when she realized what we were going to do.
“Aww Justin, I can’t believe that you remembered that!” she exclaimed.
“Babe, I remember pretty much everything that you’ve ever said to me,” I said. She just blushed and grabbed my hand as we walked into the theater.
After the show, I took her to a private dinner at a nice restaurant.
I couldn’t help but stare at her as she looked over the menu; she looked so cute when she furrowed her eyebrows in concentration. She caught me staring and said shyly, “What?”
“Nothing, I’m just glad to see you so happy right now,” I replied.
“Well you have a lot to do with that,” she replied smiling sweetly.
I stood up and extended my hand, “May I have this dance?”
She looked around, “Um J, there’s no music playing at all.”
I smiled, “C’mon, just take my hand.”
She took my hand and I gently placed my arm around her waist while interlocking her fingers with mine. I started to lightly hum a little tune as I gazed into her eyes. I wanted to kiss her so bad, but even though our date was going great I wasn’t sure if she would want me to kiss her just yet.
But to my surprise she brought her lips up to mine and I pulled her a little bit closer. Those same fireworks that I felt when we first kissed returned and I could feel her heart race a bit, just like mine was.
“It’s okay, you have my heart pounding so hard right now too,” I said when we pulled away. We both laughed and we hugged for what felt like forever.
“Baby, I missed you. And if I haven’t told you, I love you too,” she said.
I swear I thought I would break out in a dance because I was so glad that she called me baby. I know it’s corny, but if felt good to have her feelings reciprocated once again.
“I love you too Dav,” I kissed her again and held her close again.
“Justin? Are we still gonna eat dinner? Standing here with you I pretty much forgot that we were in a restaurant,” she said.
“Well it helps that it’s just us in this private room. I can call the waiter in here right now to take our orders,” I said.
After dinner I took her home and she invited me to come inside the house with her.
“So, will you take me back?” I asked nervously.
“Yes, I’ll take you back J,” she smiled.
“Yesss!” I said with my Napoleon Dynamite voice.
Right then her cell phone went off and she checked to see who it was and she smiled.
“Wow, Ricky just texted me saying that him and Lyd are back together now. Beth and Wade are engaged, and now we’re back together. How cool is that?”
“Very. We should all hang out soon,” I said.
“Good idea Justin. Hey can I ask you a question?” she asked.
“Yes,” I said.
“Can we keep our relationship out of the media as much as possible? At least for right now babe,” she said.
“Of course, baby. Hey, I gotta go. I’m flying out to my hometown; my mom said she’s been worried about me. I’m gonna tell her about us and one day I’ll let you meet my family,” he said.
“Well that’s cool babe,” she said. I walked over to her and said, “I’ll be back next week though. We are doing some cool stuff down at the restaurant but I’m gonna set aside some time to be with you okay?”
“I’m looking forward to it,” she replied.
I gave her one last kiss and made my way back out to my car. I finally got my baby back!
Dav POV
After Justin left I was so happy that I pulled out my journal to write out an entry:
Well I’ve done something that I never thought that I would do. Kevin and I broke up over 2 months ago and I got back with Justin tonight after almost 2 years since we broke up. I still loved him, even when I was with Kevin. And it turns out that Kevin was still in love with his ex as well. And did I mention that Beth and Wade got engaged? Yeah, I’m pretty excited about life right now!
