Chapter Three

"Vaeh.....VAEH!" Izzy yelled while shaking me awake.

"Wh-what?!" I asked as I say straight up, and looked over to see Izzy staring at me with worry.

I looked around and seen that I was laying on the floor by the door.

"Vaeh, what happened?!" Izzy asked while putting her hand on my back.

"I-I, someone was in my house." I whispered out

"What?!, Vaeh, you have to call the police." Izzy said

"I can't! I didn't even see what he looked like..." I told Izzy.

"What do you mean you didn't see what he looked like?" Izzy asked.

"The lights were off. I was watching a scary movie."

I tell her while looking past her.

"Maybe you were just seeing things." Izzy said

"I wasn't seeing things, izzy! He had me pinned to the wall by the door!" I told her while raising my voice a bit.

"Wait, what? Why didn't you yell for help when I got here?" She asked with curiosity.

"Because he told me not to say anything! I didn't wanna get killed!" I told her.

"Vaeh- wait, what's that in your hand?" Izzy asked as he looked at my right hand.

I looked down at my hand and noticed the necklace that was on the mans neck was now in my palm.

"I grabbed it from his neck when he ran off towards the back door." I said while looking at it closely.

There was engravings on the ring when I looked at it closely, and the engravings read, 'forever yours my love'.

This ring had to be special to this man, it seems like a women gave it to him maybe? Or he gave it to her, and something happened.

"Wait, so you mean to tell me, that you grabbed this necklace off of his neck? Are you crazy! He could have killed you right there!" Izzy exclaimed.

"He didn't notice that I took it. I'm sure he probably noticed by now though, unless he's not that observant." I told izzy.

"Vaeh, he could come back anytime, and do something to you! He knows that his necklace could have came off here." Izzy said with a scared expression.

"Yeah, well there's nothing I can do now. If he was going to kill me he would have done it by now." I inform Izzy.

"I wouldn't take any chances, Vaeh." Izzy said to me.

"Stay the night with me?" I asked her.

"It's a school night." Izzy said.

"Fine, if I'm not at school tomorrow you know why." I sighed as I got up off the floor, and walked to the kitchen.

"Fine, I'll stay." She said as she walked into the kitchen after me.

"Yay! Thank you!" I say as I throw my arms around her.

"Well, lets get to bed." Izzy said.

"Yeah, I wonder what the new kids gonna look like." I said to izzy.

"Who knows." Izzy said while laying down on my bed.

"Night, izzy."

"Night, Vaeh."
