You had always thought that the club owners would save you from any attacks from people around that weren't supposed to be there. You had never thought that one would actually be able to kidnap you without making it clear to anyone in the club that you had gone missing without a struggle.
An odd feeling rushed through your veins, surging from the spot where the skeleton had held you to every fiber in your being. You felt stiff as your surroundings wavered, spinning and spinning until you felt like you might vomit. The room you were in finally stopped whirling around you, and you clutched your stomach as a heavy wave of nausea hit you like a bat. You felt your legs quake, wobbly with the sickness finding its way to your throat.
"oh, stars, kiddo. don't get yer sick on me." The skeleton in front of you repeated. He had let go of you, taking one or two small steps back to be wary of any throw up that might come from the performer.
You gagged, retching as your lunch flew from your stomach to the cold concrete flooring.
Wait, what? Where were you?
"oh, that's just... ah, stars. here, let me get'cha a water... pathetic fucking humans..." The stranger rolled his eyes at the sick that you had just given out. The smell of it was revolting, and it carried through the air, lingering in the room. "stars, that's horrible."
Where were you?
Your head tilted up after you felt slightly better from getting the throw up out. You looked to the skeleton who had a glass of water in his outstretched hand. You were shaking with fear, distrusting the monster with a strong passion.
"W-Who are you? A-And where am I?" You stammered with a frantic and coarse voice, still harsh after the sick. He, more forcefully, handed over the cup of water, and kept his mouth closed.
"just take the damn cup and i'll tell ya."
You reluctantly-and with a more skeptical than fearful expression-took the cup from him, but didn't take a sip yet. He rolled his eyes at you.
"alright, kiddo. calm down. the name's sans," he stuck his bony hand out again for you to take. "sans the skeleton." You didn't take his hand. You didn't, even for one second, trust this attractive, young-looking guy that grabbed you and... and what did he do? Why weren't you at the club anymore?
'Sans' kept his hand out, glancing down at it as a gesture for you to take it. You didn't. You gave him a scowl, and wanted to throw a punch at him, but you felt too weak. He awkwardly shoved his hand back in his pocket.
"okay, kid. like i said, chill out. the boss'll explain it to ya. no need to get'cher panties in a twist." He scoffed at you. Why was he mad? He kidnapped you! And what boss? Where were you?
"W-What boss?" You queried with a confused expression. The skeleton cocked his head back with a neutral face.
"yer new boss, kiddo." He explained vaguely. It didn't clear any confusion for you, and instead, made it grow... by a lot. Your features became contorted with fear and nerves. You already had several bosses at the different clubs you sang at. Of course, there was the main guy, the one in charge of it all. However, he wasn't just your boss. He was everyone in that town's boss.
"N-New boss?" You asked in disbelief, feeling frustration and anxiety blossom madly inside you. The skeleton sighed with annoyance and nodded, obviously fed up with the questions. He grabbed your arm with a firm grip so that you couldn't escape, but not firm enough to hurt you. You tried to wrestle his arm, hitting your fist against the fabric in his shirt, only to be met with a hard pain in your knuckles. He chuckled with amusement at your lame attempts to get him off of you.
