I sat down on the bed while I hear the soft sound of the water in the shower. Bee of course had to rinse himself off considering the amount of blood he lost during the time of me stitching him up.
I felt a shiver run down my back as the many wounds that littered his body flashed to the back of my mind. I caused that..
I clenched my jaw, working down the lump at the back of my throat. Come on Lisa, suck it up. I blink away the tears that were forming in my eyes and I take in a deep breath.
I bite down on my lower lip as I hunched over, grabbing the large yellow shopping bag and pulled out the clothes Bee had gotten from the thrift store across from the motel we were staying at.
I pulled out the white t-shirt and rested the shirt on my legs as I pulled the blue sweater over my head and tossed it to the side before sliding the shirt over my head and fitting my thin scarred up arms through the sleeves.
Once I managed to get the shirt on, I quickly adjusted it so it fitted my body and then tied the blue sweater around my waist.
Shortly after I had dressed Bee had stepped out of the bathroom once again. He was fully dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black fitted t-shirt that hugged every biceps and every muscle on his body.
But, it also showed off the many bruises and cuts that tainted his beautiful creamy coffee skin.
He met my gaze just as my eyes met his and I quickly turned away. I hated this so much. I hated how I was such a burden to him. I was tired of dragging him down with my fucked up head and all the shit that's going wrong in my mind.
I want to do better, I want to be better for Bee. I want to give him so much of me that could be so easily done but I just can't.
I could feel the tears form in my eyes all over again as they brimmed to the corner of my eyes, just waiting for them trickle down my cheeks. I hanged my head, blinking them away and take in a deep breath. Be strong, be strong. Don't cry. Please don't cry.
"You ready to go?" Bee asked as I nodded in reply without looking at him. Bee nodded, walking over to me to pick up the paper bag which had snacks for us-me to eat which I probably wouldn't dare to touch.
I slowly stand up, feeling my head spin as I make my way to the door. Bee opened the door for me so I could step out first which I quickly did, keeping my head down to block out the strong light of the sun which made my eyes hurt.
"You like my new alt mode?" Bee asked as I turned my head up to actually take the time to look at his alt mode. Of course it was an older model of a Camaro. The exterior was painted all black expect for where the head lights where which was a large strip of yellow.
It was pretty cute. A very sweet ride. I'd have to admit this model was a lot better than his first alt mode which was the 1977 Camaro which was nearly rusted to the bolts.
"It looks nice. I like it." I replied softly as Bee beamed ear to ear as I walked over to his alt mode, lightly skimming my finger tips over the hot metal of the hood due to the sun's harsh heat.
I move my hand way to the passenger side seat and get inside, adjusting myself onto the black leather seat. The interior was mostly all black slick leather.
